One thing i noticed is that the fingers for the Saxoboom were individually animated, meaning Kostamoinen had to look at the specific finger movements from Jackblack. That is serious dedication, as animating specific movements to an instrument sounds like hell, and especially in SFM? Mega props

The hat falling on the Engineer's head and giving him a little bit of health back is such a nice touch. It's such a small detail and it really shows how much care was put into this animation.

He unfortunately died very young of cancer, but he was responsible for getting a lot of people into animating with GMOD (and later SFM). The soldier calling on the boot (and Sniper's hot kangaroo wife) are references to his final piece and magnum opus, Team Fabulous.
Everything about this, the vocal engineering, the smooth animation, the quality detailing, the suspicious Kangaroo Wife model, and overall nice pacing was simply enjoyable. Keep up the good work dear animator!
These animations are awesome dude. It's got TF2 Humor, but it's wholesome at the same time. I love how all the mercs feel like they're retired from combat and are just living life the way they like and they're all just having fun with each other. Feels like Saturday morning cartoons.
The battle ending with neither side defeating the other and just some silly laughs is honestly really wholesome, although the whole video is wholesome to be honest. It's also a fond callback to a lot of popular tf2 youtubers that people have sort of grown up with. Absolutely love this video, Great work Kostamoinen.

we almost had a TF2 show on AS, Expiration Date was to be the pilot ep. It got canned cause Valve was taking way to long to produce anything for it so the deal fell through.
My favorite part is the seamless combining of words and phrases to make it seem like actual dialogue instead of spliced together sound bites. The situations are of course hilarious too. Can’t get enough of talented creators like you.

_Masterpiece._ The parts that won me over the most were... 1) Teleporting bread, a call-back to the official film *Expiration Date* - Engineer even reminds Soldier about "last time". 2) The Mini Sentry being unable to attack Soldier since he's RED at first. 3) Olivia with the crotch punt. Somehow she didn't try that on Hale back then... 4) Soldier phoning Sniper's kangaroo wife - this is a double-decker call-back to *Team Fabulous 2* because Soldier used a boot _and_ he also sent condolences to her. 5) Sax-a-boom. 6) Engineer's...weird structure growing him another head and returning his hat. The hat gives him more health. 7) Bacon. Cream gravy. Corn cake. On closer observation, he had Fishcake, but it's shaped similarly, right? 8) Mitch Conner. Surprised he didn't apply a status effect after the slap... 9) The giant Sandvich made with the bread Engineer and Soldier were fighting for. I'd definitely like to see more adventures from Gardener Heavy and his companions. Well done!

What i like about Kostamoinen's animations is that they all have coherent plots and humour is diverse and clever and they always end peacefully without anyone dying (most of the time)

I remember seeing the picture of the kangaroo in Team Fabulous 2. And I gotta say I was shocked that the picture looks both steamy and decent. Furries are both a handful of blessing and a truckload of curse.
2:05 the way this girl is animated is really great. The way the lips jiggle a little after the skull has stopped moving was a really great little detail.
I like how they pick up an entire telephone instead of just a handset. Probably because a model is just glued together but this also gives characters even more cartoony look
Cannot express just how impressive the talent is for taking full clips of audio and placing them into new contexts without even needing sentence mixing. the "see red" line sounded like it was made for THIS scene, even though I know damn well its from meet the spy. the sentence mixing is also incredible of course but it just goes to show how creative someone can be with such limited material. Not to mention of course just how well put together everything else is, from the animation to the comedic timing, the tone- its SUPERB.
This is beautiful! I really love how every animator has his own style. Like Ceno0 going with over the top anime epicness or Cartoon ponys absolute madness. And Kosta has weird, but nice storys that often have some kind of happy end. It's really incredible to watch, everything is it's own thing
It's somewhat comparable to STBlackST, but with certain... somehow it feels like cream and vanilla ice cream. They seem quite simmilar, but if you take each side by side, you can clearly tell which is whose. +- I'm pretty sure the fight scene was inspired by him, with how many of them you can find in STBlackST's videos.

I like how they pick up an entire telephone instead of just a handset. Probably because a model is just glued together but this also gives characters even more cartoony look
If you look at when the phone is ringing, the phone has a different jiggle than the receiver. It's on purpose.

Cannot express just how impressive the talent is for taking full clips of audio and placing them into new contexts without even needing sentence mixing. the "see red" line sounded like it was made for THIS scene, even though I know damn well its from meet the spy. the sentence mixing is also incredible of course but it just goes to show how creative someone can be with such limited material. Not to mention of course just how well put together everything else is, from the animation to the comedic timing, the tone- its SUPERB.
Literally. TF2 sentence mixing is an underappreciated art form

It's somewhat comparable to STBlackST, but with certain... somehow it feels like cream and vanilla ice cream. They seem quite simmilar, but if you take each side by side, you can clearly tell which is whose.
+- I'm pretty sure the fight scene was inspired by him, with how many of them you can find in STBlackST's videos.
