    I'm so glad you're safe now. I also think you are a brave, smart, caring lady to be willing to sound the alarm as no one sadly did for you, when people are in abusive and manipulative relationships.

    Oh wow. I'm so sorry to hear this has happened to you. Your current boyfriend seems to be the complete opposite: supportive, warm hearted, fun to be around, trustworthy etc. I am glad you've met him. It takes the right people to change one's perspective on life. Keep going your own way, it looks like it's the right direction ❤

    I think being in a functional and loving relationship also makes us realize what can and should be. ❤️ Thanks for sharing your story. It makes me reflect on my past experiences as a teen and how grateful I am to have survived those years emotionally intact. 😊

    It's hard to remember these kinda guys exist because none of my friends have ever been like that and I've never seen any guy acting like that. I guess I just don't hang out in that world at all.

      It's common if the guys view women as sex objects subject to 'conquest', and it's rampant in certain 'alpha' communities, like investment banking and pro sports. I bet she dated a hot guy in showbiz, and hot guys that has it easy with the ladies from a young age tend to have little respect for them apart from being sex objects, and the things he does to them, he does it with impunity. Her being a naïve, fawning teenager fit exactly what they think women are.
      Him telling her that a sexual assault should be 'taken as a compliment' implies that he doesn't care about her. (in other words he value his friend over her) Why? Almost certainly he's cheating on her with some groupie. If she goes, he has other starry-eyed women lined up ready to take her place.

    It easy when you are more mature to instantly know who is not worth your time. Some people are good in core but are too broken and it isn't your job to fix them. Even if your work involves dealing with people, you always want to be able to chose not to for any particular occasion. So this is how freedom in any form is so important. If you have options you can simply chose better one each time. Every good decision boosts you confidence and with confidence you don't get bothered by low people.

    One time i was living with my ex for like.... 4 months or something and i didn't have a key. I didn't think about it when i started a new job. I had to bus 45 minutes to an hour to go to work and then work 9 hours, and then one day i came home and nobody else was home so i had no choice but to break a screen and crawl thru the window to get inside. I forgot to tell them i did this but it was really obvious that the screen was broken. Apparently they opened the window later and one of their cats got out and got hit by a car and i LOVEE cats like..m they are my favorite animal in the world.... and my ex blamed me and was really milking it. Like he says i murdered his cat and was really trying to make me feel like i don't deserve anything good

    Rape culture is so normalized in Korea. Sex crimes are so common, and yet people are still afraid to talk about sex. The outcome is girls and women falling victim to all kinds of cruelties. If a child perpetrator says that the girl consented to having sex, that criminal would literally be punished less. Sex trafficking places are found all around the city in Seoul alone

  • @radoslavmilev4896
    @radoslavmilev4896 11 месяцев назад +1

    I saw few of your videos, really interesting and in the same time weird. I think being a conservative society pushed the people to do such disrespectful things. Here in EU, everybody discuss sex normally, kisses and hugs in public places are normal and this "rape culture" does not exist. From my perspective living in Korea is really difficult, especially for girl

    • @SchlichteToven
      @SchlichteToven 10 месяцев назад

      I don't buy that idea at all. It's basically the argument that guys are raging beasts with no self-control at all. You think any guy who for whatever reason does not have a willing woman available is liable to become a monster and take it from wherever he can get it by force? Better hope a man never gets stuck on a deserted island with a 5-year-old (or his wife doesn't get cancer and doesn't want to put out while in chemo). The subtext of what you're saying is basically the flip side of incel diatribe. Give every man what he wants or he'll run down strangers on the streets in a van.
      And rape culture absolutely DOES exist in the EU, which by the way is not one homogenous culture. Ever been to Italy or Spain? It's pervasive in all countries. If it wasn't, that would mean women never get groped or assaulted or raped, and if they report it they're always taken seriously and there's a high conviction rate, which is certainly not the case.

    • @radoslavmilev4896
      @radoslavmilev4896 10 месяцев назад

      @@SchlichteToven you absolutely did not understand what I meant. More conservative is the society more the people are pushed to the edge. It's the same how the Saudi Arabians drink in Bahrain. Like it's the end of the world. And no...in Europe we do not have a rape culture!!! There are no tabus. You can drink, kiss on the street, smoke weed and the society function perfectly
