Johnny Strong ( " SFC Randy Shughart", Black Hawk Down) has His debut Director / Writer/ Producer/ Actor roles as " MCPO Richard Mirko" , a lone Navy SEAL in Taliban , Al - Qaeda and ISIS- K dominated Afghanistan, rescues a 5 Year Old American Girl, " Zoe Elizabeth Watkins" ( Athena Durner) , in " Warhorse One". A fitting tribute to the Armed Forces of the United States, NATO / ISAF , and Afghan Partner Forces, and more importantly, at the end of the Film, to the Children that suffer in the Horrors of War. 🇺🇲🇺🇸🛡️🗡️⚔️🪖💣💥🔥🇦🇫🇦🇫‼️

I get you guys are the real deal .
If a movie was to depict real life scenario
I guess we never have a movie because the people would be dead in most cases.
It's a friggin movie but I sure do like what it stands for the relationship between the man and the girl.
I'm sure Im correct in saying it might not be to far fetched another person helping out someone they don't know and a life story begins around the outcome.
I loved the movie and it's always good to see the Calvary coming to back up one of their own does it happen this way I don't know but I'm sure you guys would back up your comrade.
I'd like to say tanks to all you Military men women for what you provide us in the USA and those abroad that stand for freedom.
I can't imagine those who go into war the inner struggles you may face in combat or when you come home from it and maybe some of you don't face demons I know either way we as civilians will never understand.
There's no words that I could say to comfort you from the pain you might be filling but know this you are fighting for something and never forget it is freedom.
I knew a girl who escaped such horrors and beatings she used to get tied up with piano wire hung out of the window for other women in the town to see so they wouldn't be disobedient.
So you Soldiers do matter the cause matters she finally had help to escape and came to America and my own mother was hunted down by the Nazis because they thought she was half Jew she escaped her grandparents hid her.
So weather you feel any good while in the field just know there are those who do feel the good because of what you all do .
Marry Christmas to all you hard working soldiers because you do matter!!!!

I'm sorry, but this movie was terrible. I appreciate the guy and the love he has for the community and the work he puts into making this type of movie, but it just isn't authentic, and it just didn't work. There were so many glaring errors, and I think that they really needed some legitimate operator advisers and a director/actor that isn't running everything in the movie through one chain - himself. If he had people there to call foul on some cliches and his impulses, it could have been a potentially decent movie. Instead, it just looked like a low-budget thing that airsoft guys would put together.
Watch the "Beers and Breakdowns" from FNG Academy, and there's two SF cats reviewing the movie and they noticed all the same things that I noticed. Sorry, it just didn't work for me.

Sadly the movie is cheap as hell. From sound, to muzzle flashes that are digitally added through post production, to dialogues and the audiovisual. I love Kaufmans movies, but i can tell that he barely worked on the action.
I was expecting that the shootouts will be tactical and intense, but all it was, two sides shooting at rocks and Strong headshoting these dudes who were looking out of cover. The enemies in this movie never used any kind of tactics, no flanking, no suppressive fire with flank, basically zero ideas in the action. The music also was so loud that i could barely hear any dialogues.
The movie was also long with lot of empty spaces in which nothing happened. Real shame.
