She really tells a story. Her tone is so rich and deep and her dynamics are superb. There is so much character in each phrase. She is a great great artist.

Not really. She isn’t perfect. Hearing her performance, you can tell that there are still glimpses of amateurism. Too much ritenuto and strange dynamics in the beginning. Octave part is strange. She’s playing too mechanistically, like if a metronome was turned on. She didn’t invent new approach to this piece. She hasn’t discovered new melody lines etc. For me, as a pianist myself, there’s nothing especial.

Le Polacche di Chopin suonate da Irene hanno sempre un sentimento velato di raffinata dolcezza, di vivi ricordi della Polonia e un elegante e soffice tocco... Pochi pianisti riescono ad ottenere un suono così puro che fa emergere il vero significato delle Polacche!!! Irene la numero uno sempre!!!!!!!!!

Splendida interpretazione. Questo è' un brano "di testa", che segue un ritmo interpretativo strettamente legato alla fisiologìa del pensiero: ...tu pensi, ...mediti su qualcosa, talora ti soffermi per chiarire a te stesso l'evoluzione di quanto meditato... e poi ti riprendi, come da una base raggiunta... e t'involi in un successivo recesso - e così via...
Tu,,, l'hai capito!!! Questo brano non è musica..., ma letteratura!
