very good, you make a good view of this good piece for a young kid like me

  • @ΜιλτιάδηςΒιτσικουνάκης

There is a view that simplicity means perfection, hence the absolute truth that only a child prodigy can express. This composition is absolutely classic in form and must be regarded as something timeless and perfect.
Your virtual and figurative mood, as well as the detailed analysis you undertake, highlight the virtues of a chaste masterpiece full of purity, honesty and gentle light. This Polonaise is a work free from the burden of maturity and uniqueness of each creator. It is, therefore, something like a "common property of all", in an absolute and indisputable way.
What more could one look for in art and life?
Dear Maestro, once again, I would like to express my absolute satisfaction with infinite thanks for the sensitive and detailed analysis you attempt, face to a premature masterpiece !!!

I appreciate how you've analyzed an apparently simple piece and shown the complexity and beauty of it. I learned this a couple months ago after accidentally stumbling upon it on RUclips. You do an amazing job with your interpretation. Thanks so much.

Thank you for this insight into the brilliant Chopin as a child, it is quite sophisticated and the thing I think about all the time about music and musicians before there were recording devices, especially for orchestral music and opera, it’s not something you could just turn on all the time and listen to multiple times, you would make a night of it and you go to the opera and you wouldn’t have access to the same music as often as we do today. So I would think the power of observation was much higher in those days and extraordinary for a small child. Also, the part where you talk about ‘mommy and daddy’ reminded me of opera with the male and female duets. Charming!

Greg, you are a great storyteller. I like your lectures very much. I can feel your passion and desire as a Polish person to show us Polish culture, art and Chopin. Special thanks for telling us your dear mother’s story. Very touched❤.
By the way, I'm reading Allen's book as you suggested. Watching your analysis while reading Chopin's biography is the perfect experience.
