Wow! Another fabulous performance by Avdeeva! Thank you!
And the Chopin's Fantasy itself is beyond praise for its miraculous sound and virtuosity. Nearly, every work of Chopin, large or small, share the same qualities!

I truly think Ms. Avdeeva has the most potential of any young pianist out there. Her performance of the Fantasy in F minor is perfect technically, and beautifully interpreted. She has an extraordinary ability to 'emote'... to play each passage in a way that goes straight to the heart of the listener. Although I find quite a few public performances by Ms. Avdeeva here and there on RUclips, I wish there were many more.
I can imagine that it's very difficult to establish as career as a concert pianist. It's a grueling form of existence, and I'm not really sure it's something that any sane person would or should want to do. Ms. Avdeeva may not, as a artist, feel that that is the path that most fulfills her. Whatever her plans, I can only hope that she continues to play in public occasionally and more of her playing finds it's way on to RUclips!
I first became aware of this work from a recording on Phillips by Claudio Arrau, about 35 years ago. Ms. Avdeeva's performance here has made it one of my favorite Chopin compositions. I haven't heard a pianist who moves me so much in many decades.

Listening to Yulianna Avdeeva is such a pleasure.
Guido Agosto visited the Danish Conservatory around 1971 and said in his masterclass that this piece, the Fantasie op.49, is the most important Chopin piece. I disagree (I think the Sonata op.58 is greater, and also op.65, Cello-Sonata - and if you listen to op.7 the piano-trio you will be surprised how beautiful that is. Anyway, listening to Yulianna Avdeeva is such a pleasure.
