IMHO Donna is a real doll, definitely the most beautiful woman in Saturday Night Fever. She embraced the role of Annette with a real passion and empathy for her character. A lovely woman and a fantastic actress.
Been a fan since SNF and especially her starring role as Angie (canceled way too early). She looks amazing and is such a down to earth, lovely woman. Great interview!
I was in the film and music business for over 30 years. Ken Boxer is one of the best interviewers and host around. This episode is only the second I have seen of the show. He asks intelligent questions. Is patient and lets the guests answer his questions without interrupting or trying to answer his own question. Well done Mr. Boxer.
I’m not saying he’s bad but I was pretty surprised that he got the American Academy of Dramatic Art confused with the school that “Fame” was based on. The former is a private college-level conservatory and the other is a public high school.
Donna got a raw deal with “Angie” back in the day. I didn’t know a single kid at the time who didn’t watch it. I know grownups watched it too but I was a kid so I knew other kids and knew what they watched on TV. The show was of the caliber of sitcoms that ABC had made into hits in that era and deserved to run much longer. They made a programming mistake and yanked it around on the schedule and the ratings were affected. Had they kept it where it was, it probably would have lasted.
A dance trainer isn't the same thing as a choreographer. A choreographer CREATES dance routines (which may involve teaching routines and overseeing how they are performed - and/or or assigning someone else to assist with follow up). A dance trainer TEACHES dance techniques and routines, and HOW to perform the choreography. On IMDB, Lester Wilson was listed as the dance choreographer with JoJo Smith as dance consultant. Deney Terrio was listed as dance instructor (uncredited). If Mr. Terrio created/choreographed dance moves that were used in the movie, and it occurred to a significant extent, IMHO it would have been appropriate to credit him as an assistant choreographer or co-choreographer, However, if the producers and/or whomever was in charge didn't want to do this, it probably wouldn't happen - even if he deserved it.
Donna was just so damned cute in SNF and Angie. I had a huge crush on her when I was a preteen. She has the girl next door down to earth look about her that is adorable. Any man with half a brain would've been happy to be with someone like that IMO.

@Trevor Rogert Really? Risqué? I thought it was a result of being moved to a terrible time slot...?
Absolutely a real beauty still....what a special woman!!!😍
I agree.
I remember her on the TV show Out Of This World!!!
I was only seven when Saturday Night Fever came out, but I knew from the album cover that I really like full figured women because of her.
She was not hefty back then, so I don't know what you are talking about?

...Donna is a year younger than me...I had a serious crush on her after SNF...still do...
This Lady was pretty back in the 70’s and she is still pretty now. Those eyes.
And that hair.
She’s perfect for the movie
Always a great smile, very special woman...

Happy 65th Birthday Donna Pescow
I loved her as the mom on 'Even Stevens'!!
Great show.
The Lester Wilson she speaks about teaching her to dance passed away in 1993. May he rest in peace.
Such pretty eyes
No mention of Out Of This World :(
Lester Wilson? Why was Deney Terrio always said to be the dance trainer for Saturday Night Fever?

What about her appearance on The Sopranos?
i had and have a thing for this women !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Considered overweight when this movie dropped but today she is considered normal. I say she was sexy back then and sexy now
@Snap Crackle(open): A woman with "some meat" on her is always beautiful.
