Hi! We invite you to take a look around our UNUSUAL self-build, which has a twist of TANGO and a UNIQUE layout for the WARDROBE (which we have never seen before!). Was great FUN building it and travelling in it on our recent 2 month trip. Hope it gives you some IDEAS & INSPIRATION for your build!

Your upholstery takes the van to a whole other level. Beautiful.
You raise a good point that many campers don't prepare for - wet weather. When you come in out of the rain and trails, you often carry in mud and wet clothes. This is why a side awning is so important. You can hose down, and hang wet clothes while you get inside and warm up.
Hi, It's all about how you use a camper and build it to your needs, we don't need a awning as we don't stay in one place for very long, only a couple of days so we wouldn't want to mess around putting an awning up and we always camp on free spots or aires so you wouldn't put up an awning thats the beauty of self build make it to what works for you. I agree. I just bought a wide angle lens for my iPhone and it works great. Only cost $40 or so. Not bad.
That table idea with the front seats as dining is such a great space saver! Definitely taking notes! 💙
Hi, yes it really works great for us, it may not work for everyone as you have to slide in and out of the seats but for us its perfect. It would also depend on your seat swivel design as some swivels are offset and as you turn them they move move in to the center of the van. hope this helps :) Andy

Wow what an awesome build. Your filming technique though was a bit too close up in some areas (couldn't see the full concept/space properly) but above average skills on the build/design.
Hi yes we filmed it on our phone while on holiday so not the best but I did make a short tour with a wide angle lens which gives a better perspective and also some video of the outside. Thanks for watching 👍
From what I've seen of self build campers (and I've watched a LOT of these videos) the finished result ends up in one of three ways. Either the woodworking looks great but the upholstery is tatty, the woodwork is shoddy and the upholstery is great or the whole thing looks like it was done in the dark. You two have managed to buck that trend.

Really beautiful little home! My favourite so far. I love that you did it in light colours. Small spaces seem to look more open when light colours are used. Your decorating is really nice. Really, really great job! Oh yes - tucking your table away is brilliant. I don't do well with clutter, so that really stood out to me. Blessings to you both and happy travelling!
Great van! The best I've seen up to now. You both are really very crafty and I'm sure having the clothes at the backdoor gives more isolation against cold.

If you put an elastic band or a couple of them around the spice jars,about the sane height it will reduce the rattling of the jars when you drive 😃 or even a piece of those foam plasters/ band aids x

Your build videos are definitely in my top two of camper builds. I now think I'd build my cabinets in the way you have. I was going to use 6mm mdf panels but glue-laminated strips to make the thickness up to 12mm or 18mm where strength was needed, but I think your technique may be stronger and lighter.

great to see that a table between the seats works! I am having a crazy concept where the table/standing desk is also the shower wall, on a swivel, dividable in 2, etc.. this is encouraging! Van looks great, it's a 6 years old video, so maybe i should say "looked great" :)

Ideal set up. Only things couple needs, and no burdensome extras.
igor taranchenko exactly, keep it simple, just park up crack on. Made is laugh when we would see people park up next to us messing about trying to find the flattest places to park them getting the ramps out! Then the satellite dish goes up, one motorhome turned up and pulled a tree out the garage bit n put it by his van lol.
So you laugh at people because you think yours is better than theirs? How nice. "self-build".."unique layout" lol yeah ok
who said anything about ours being better? If i was going to drive for hundreds of miles to see all these nice places in a camper/motorhome the last thing I'd do is put the TV on!

serpantseed08 you must be reading this completely wrong - what our comment meant was that we like to stop somewhere and just get on and enjoy , we can't be bothered to spend a long time with things such as taking 1/2 an hour parking on ramps and going backwards and forwards to get perfectly level (some people hate it to be on a slant) we also said that they then spend ages adjusting satellite / aereals and making a garden with trees. Thats purely a personal choice they probably laugh at us for it being on a slant etc ! That is what we have meant in our comment, as we just like to stop and then go out and do something and we did think it funny what people spend their time over but equally they may laugh at us although they are perfectly entitled to do what they want of course, in no way did we say ours was better than anyone elses - its an entirely personal thing 😀 and we think it's unique because it's different and personal and we spent a lot of time creating it - this to us does not interpret to mean its better 😉

Hey guys, just came to your channel today. Watched all the videos, excellent work with a great finish. I'm sure you've been asked this a lot, but I'm going to ask again... Apart from the purchase of the van itself, how much do you think you spent on the conversion? I'm just trying to budget myself and any assistance would be greatly received.
Hi, Thanks for watching all our videos and commenting :) it all depends on the type of finish you're after and what you want to include in your van and how you want to use it for it was essential we had a shower/toilet for going to our dances and we don't really stay on campsites. For something like ours I would budget around £5-£6K but you could do it for a lot less with a more basic setup. Hope this helps. Andy

Don't know if I am been blind or what but I didn't catch the type of van you are using? I am wanting to do a build myself as a permanent residence to and that looks the perfect height after insulation. Loving the build Keep up the good work and drive safe :)

No one ever tells us how they hook up waste tanks or solar only how they do the inside of the camper. I'm wondering if I need to take a class?

Hi, thank you for your nice comment :) The cost can be whatever you want it to be, it all depends on the quality of the conversion and the amount of Things you put in there, just keep it simple if your budget is low. You dont need all the bells and whistles to enjoys yourself in a camper it's all about getting away :)

Hello , do you by any chance have diagrams or blueprints of the bathroom plumbing?? thank you in advance and congratulations on the van I loved it .
manuel rosquete hi at the moment there is no plumbing in the bathroom! To keep costs low we use a solar shower or one kettle of hot water and 2.5 litres cold water into the hozelock shower. We used nearly every day for 2 months no problem . more info on this video ruclips.net/video/bYTJbmWR1nE/видео.html
We were suprised at how the solar shower heats the water up. The secret is if you don't fill the bag completely with water you need to remove any excess air before putting it out in sun. If over 20 degrees only takes a couple of hours before it heats. 😆
Witali Bossenko The shower tray is plumbed in to the grey tank we have fitted under the van. We also have a fresh water tank under the van. Perhaps we can show more detail of the plumbing of sink and bathroom in another video 😁
how long can you shower for with the solar shower?
jazzy hk Im not sure because we've only used the solar shower to heat water as the pump shower has more pressure. The solar shower holds more water than we need and so I imagine if full it would last a good 10 minutes. The solar bag holds 20litres but we can get a shower each with a total of 5litres with the pressure spray. 🛁
I would love to see the shower/water/bathroom setup better. Your wife was so embarrassed about the bathroom that I'm still a bit confused about your setup.
If the toilet stall was small and did away with the shower space, this build would be perfect for a family. The couch could be made to concert to a small bed and have a seatbelt for when driving. This build has some seriously amazing ideas that I haven't seen before

Tip for the rattling bottles, go to a fruit seller and ask for the lattice foam they cover fruits with. If to big wrap around spices or cut to size for bottles and glue, that way you can transfer it to another bottle when empty.
That is one of the best campervan conversions Ive seen. Love the interoir design and the idea of the front chairs rotating around....has made me rethink a few ideas for when I do one myself..thanks guys very inspirational.
