I am absolutely saving this vid, because THIS is something my grandson, currently 14, seriously WANTS. And I AM GOING TO HELP HIM!!! If survive that, I'm doing the same thing for myself!! In fact, we will work in some extra space for an extra passenger, on occasion, AKA his grandmother! JK, anyone!

Easiest fix: swap out the passenger seat with a bench seat. You'll pay for it (if you can't find one at a junk yard), but it will be Department of Transportation qualified seating.
Do you know I actually like your video a lot more, most videos just play a 30 min time lapse and I appreciate you describing each bit as you progress.

This type of stuff is challenging but at the same time really therapeutic. I love the moments after you've done something and then you sit there and marvel at it for a few minutes before continuing the work. Obviously the feeling of taking that baby on the road is really nice too :)

This is the first video I’ve seen with a Vapor barrier being applied
It's controversial.
Temperature differential on metal (inside vs. outside) causes condensation. Will that layer be enough to keep it from acting like bare metal? I've thought about using Rhino liner for this reason, before insulating. The biggest issue there is, I have no idea if or how long it outgases, and I don't really want to be unable to live in the van due to constant headaches.
The footage, editing, and info on this video are amazing

WOW epic achievement x I must have missed a few episodes as there was a lot I hadn't seen. It looks like it was SUCH hard work but what an amazing result x you must be relieved and so proud of what you have done x well done!
I always use a knife when cutting that style of insulation. Cut it the same way you would drywall. Score one side and break it. Then cut the foil like you would the paper on drywall. Not only is it fast but much cleaner.

Future reference. 25mm kingspan can easily be cut by slicing both sides with a Stanley blade. No dust!
