Today I want to answer the question: How To Maintain Faith When Things Seem to be Falling Apart.
When life gets tough and we stand in the struggles of now and forget the vision we had for our future. Trust me I know, when I had to wrap Jelani in a towel because I was out of money. However, faith is saying I am going to stand on what I know, not what I see. I had to lift my head up and believe that my future was going to get better.
Faith says in my life I might fall, but it doesn't mean I don't have the right to fly. We all fall! But we need to believe in ourselves that we can get back up and create a breathtaking life.

I'm learning that where I am in life is a comma, not a period, there's more to come. Keep going. 💪
My father is my toxic trigger. I no longer communicate with him. My Creator used him to help me get here, but I would not have become who I am had I kept fighting to be in his life. Wisdom told me to love him from a distance. If he wises up and brings positivity, perhaps we'll have a relationship. If not, I refuse to allow him to provoke me.

Faith and Fear coexist and function similarly. Faith hopes for the best, without sight. There is the expectation of good. Fear puts forth hope about the worst, without sight. There is the expectation of the "bad." We chose which one to feed...
Just reminded me how strong my faith is & how it has changed my life many times...I am going through an temporary housing issue & almost lost my faith but I KNOW WILL FIND SOMEWHERE FOR US TO STAY

Almost every day for the last 6 months, I’ve been encouraged and living in new hope and faith. I’ve noticed in the last 3-4 weeks that I’m feeling tired and getting more caught up in the present circumstances. While I experience an abundant life in most areas, financial prosperity has never been part of the picture. I’ve been discouraged at the lack of breakthrough and wondering if I will be financially successful. Hearing you say that it doesn’t matter how many times you fall or get set back. It’s not a track record for the future is so encouraging. Thank you.

I’ve fallen soo many times..after each trial and tribulation I got my self back up stronger than before...SOARING! Through the my parents divorce, through a car accident that was supposed to leave me paralyzed, through the unexpected death of my infant daughter, through the death of my father whom I found in my bathroom from an overdose... I keep SOARING and I’m not allowing the circumstances to become me! I’m reminded daily of my vision and my FAITH is STANDING on WHAT I KNOW! Thank you Lisa!

I just ended a relationship that did not or has never served me good, and for a minute I forgot about the wonderful marriage that I have faith will come in the near future. Lisa, thank you my relationship, with my mother was toxic, from the time I could reason! as a young child. If not for me, believing in a higher power! I probably would be in institution. I ran from N. Y. to the state of Virginia from Va, to my presence state of Alaska, just to have distance between us. No I wasn’t the prefect daughter. I’m going through a healing process, with myself right now. FAITH has kept me, strong! and Yes I’ve been through many storms, of life and I know that more storms, will come. I use to feel so alone, thank you, for always saying YANA, you are not alone. I’m not afraid to expose myself anymore!

Recent PhD graduate , went through hell to get it and so did my little son. My now looks nothing like I hoped for. Thanks for the reminder that faith is its most powerful in situations that require a miracle, like love is it’s purest when given to those who it’s hard to give to. Lisa I have been following you for quite a few years and I met you at the California women’s convention in 2014. I have seen you speak from your heart and really make amazing transformations for yourself. I am so inspired by you. I am a native New Yorker and my husband, daughter and I now live in San Diego. We had a dream to move out here since 2011. We moved first to L. A. and I did not like it. We took the leap of faith 3 years ago and finally moved out to our dream destination. We love it. The Financial challenges are tough. We came here knowing nobody and are slowly making friends and learning about the culture here. Our daughter just graduated high school in Anaheim two weeks ago. I have been praying for her to be blessed with strength to academic understanding. She did well. I am a mother first and adore her.
I like this video because it reminds me of my beginning with my husband. We have been living such a humble life and really are grateful for everything we have been through together after 20 years of marriage. This is the biggest issue and challenge for our family-Financial Abundance. We feel stuck and are trying so hard to figure ways to earn more money. We would love to go to one of your events one day. I hit my biggest bottom of lack of faith a week ago. It took a few dips (one a week) with increasing lows. I questioned my ability, I questioned my purpose, I doubted myself in all ways. One thing kept me going, my determination to care for my family.
I risked my pride, I finally asked nearly everyone I knew for help. Shared my GoFundMe directly with them. I gave them the chance to show up in my world.
I still don't know the how of how we will get to our amazing future, but I do have faith & more hope that we will. I focus on the blessings that I do have right now. I appreciate everyone in my life now.
Through this journey I have gotten back into my writing & am looking to inspire people through my story. Teach the tools I have learned from Lisa & others. How I applied them & what my outcomes have been.
I'm plugging back into this channel. I'm reconnecting with my tribe. I'm having the deeper conversations.

What I needed to hear today was to keep my eye on my vision. I have a vision and I foolishly thought it would be easy to get but I am being hit with obstacle after obstacle. I feel like the whole world is against me and no matter what I try lately I continue fail time and time again. I am so disappointed and at the lowest point I have ever been in life. Through this difficult time I will remind myself to look up and keep my eye on my vision.

This was a message that I have struggled with, especially in the past week. I keep telling myself to keep my eye on the prize, what I KNOW I am meant to do. So the comment about faith doesn't mean we don't fall down, but that we have the right to fly (paraphrased) really hit home. I always tell people in my stress and anxiety group that there is a Japanese proverb about falling down 7 and getting up 8, but I have struggled with belief in this and faith alot lately. Thank you Lisa, it seems that often your messages are what I really need to hear at specific time. I am so glad I started following you.

The person who triggers me is my mom!.... It has been the greatest challenge of my life, over 40 years... to keep calm, to love and answer instead of reacting.
You reminded me about that... not reacting.... but change my answer, my behaviour, my conscious response and be aware about how it changes the outcome.
I have already experienced that... it's really amazing how it powerfully changes the communication and feelings... I saw and lived it a lot of times (with mom and others). Yet, it seems like we easily forget about that power. So it's never to much to remember it. :)
Yesterday - once again - I was feeling anxiety just to know that I was going to see her.... even like that, I went there and when I left, in my chest a growing peace and lightness comforted me. I was happy with myself. I was gentle and calm, I didn't lost patiente, A small victory but hudge for me. :)
I am grateful because I know nothing happens by wizard. And I know that soon I will have new eyes and new perspectives... It is a part of my vision... to inspire others who deal with toxic mothers... I know, like I know, It's another perfect piece of the big puzzle. :)
So... I am deeply grateful to life, to universe, to you Lisa, to myself... while I'm nourishing, taking good care of my vision (my baby), just like you say; the goal is working on me while 'm working on the goal. :)
And the vision is so amazing, that I have been walking alone, bcause it would sounds crazy to others... it was given to me...

I don't have anything left to give. I can not even dream. For the first time, I do not know what i want. I have stepped back from friendships because i was being used but they could not do anything for me. I dont have not one person i can call to help me because everyone comes to me. i am tired of being in the projects of life and physically when i have so much inside. So i sit here and watch.

Wow, thank you for this! Your email first hit home for me because I am going through all the challenges you named. My calling and God given gift to make music with a gospel base for children and others has been pulling on me lately! However being a mom, a wife, and leader in my community has been a challenge to balance . NOW happens! To hear my husband say I’m not paying attention because my vision is so loud! Yet I don’t want to neglect the other purposes assigned to me- being a mom, a wife, and leader is also my purpose. I have to get this in control to get to the “promise land”.
