She got me at, "I forgot to ask for permission". I am just loving this. My dad always called me hardheaded which I to Negative, but when I got older, I began to see what he saw. I have always been the one to push against the grain. I'm still that way, but not to be disrespectful, but because that voice and spirit down inside me was so strong and loud that I couldn't ignore it. I am willing!!!!! She can bring me to tears with truth. Its so refreshing. I am being reinvented right now and I'm glad I took the first step to not only step out, but step away.

As a young black man in America, I feel like Lisa Nicholas give me an advantage in life .bc a lot of this knowledge she shares America subconsciously tries to show me that I can’t have it. When I listen to her I know anything is possible if you work hard at it and believe in yourself.
I’m new to the “Lisa Nicholes”, however as I’ve been following her I feel more empowered over my life and career. I’m in the place that my relationship with my mother doesn’t reflect the same empowerment and I don’t know if it ever will. I guess one day it will.
