Inspiring and motivating. But I wonder, how do you learn to differentiate between these types of impulses and more superficial impulses that serve as distractions? There's so much resistance we have to deal with at every turn, how do you know when you're acting from a place of alignment or a place of resistance?

​@@amberwitham2546 The phrase "Be still and know" has really served me well over the past year or so. Getting quiet and listening to the thoughts flowing... and then, rather than letting them run rampant, just observing all of the thoughts and working to return back to focus on my breathing... in short, meditation.
And one thing that has really helped me to connect to Source quickly is to journal with the question why.
Here's an example:
I just don't want to.
Why?
Because it will be too tiring.
Why?
Because it takes so much effort.
Why?
I don't know.
Why?
Why don't I know why it takes so much effort?
yes.
I don't know. You tell me.
Why?
Why should you tell me?
Yes. Why?
Because you're Source. You're supposed to have the answers.
Why?
Because I've always been told that God or Source has the answers for me.
Why?
Why have I been told that?
Yes. Why?
I don't know. Maybe because it's serving of religion or whoever told me that to have God being the place where all the answers come from.
Why?
Seriously?
Yes. Why?
Because people want God to have the answers.
Why?
Because it's easier for me in life to have certainty that the direction I'm going in is the right one.
Why?
Because I think there is a right path I'm supposed to be on.
Why?
Because there is a right and wrong, right?
You tell me.
I mean I shouldn't just up and punch someone just because I want to or because I'm feeling mad and they haven't done anything wrong, right?
Why?

I don't know if this will serve you, but it's been an incredible tool for me recently. Someone told me about this method earlier this year and it's really been an incredible access tool.
Eventually the conversation becomes more of a conversation and stops being why only. And it doesn't take too many interactions of "why", for it to become something more.
I get to a point, some level of interactions in, where I'm having direct conversations with Source - Source within me but Source from outside of me too. Bashar talks about being able to access this whenever you want... I didn't really get there via Bashar or Abraham Hicks, but have since come across many videos with Bashar and Abraham Hicks and have found that the points resonate with my experience of Source, accessed through the above meditation/observation, and "why" methods.
And even me replying with this lengthy of a reply feels like because Source is guiding me to share this with you now. I hope it serves you well, and if not, that's ok too.
