I have always refused pickled eggs with the thought of them being gross. After watching this video a fermented egg actually sounds good. I look forward to making these myself. Thank you for the interest if trying something new. I am glad you are part of this collaboration.

Thanks for showing your ferments, lots of great ideas! Nice selection of lids you have on hand. I have to get back to fermenting. Just moved out of our big farmhouse into a little one and I'm storing most of my canning and fermenting things in the original 1920's house that's still standing here. My quilting studio will be in there so I'm using the bedrooms for my storage for seasonal kitchen stuff. It's a pain to walk out of our tiny house to get things in the winter but oh well, the next generation is going to be close to us(4 miles from our big farmhouse to this yard that we started out on). Yippee, I hope to get my grand kids gardening like me..

I’ve never had pickled eggs. I saw a comment somewhere here about putting the fermented eggs in potato salad. That sounds wonderful. I didn’t know about fermenting a year ago so all of this is somewhat new to me. I’ve been reading for awhile on it.
My doctor suggested eating fermented foods recently. So I’ve tried a few things. I’ve had mostly good experiences. Both of these you showed today will have to be my next tries. I tried red bell pepper a few days ago just to see if I could do it. I love it. My jar is almost gone. Thank you for showing how we can ferment eggs!

We LOVE onions! I expect I'll need to start a pint once a week! I already make a pint of caramelized onions every weekend.
Years ago I made pickled eggs to use to make deviled eggs for a party. Sadly I ran out of time preparing everything else for the party. A few of the guest heard about the project and encouraged me to make a few for them to test. My four guinea pigs 😉loved them! I didn't even get a taste! they gobbled them all up and one of them stole the jar with the remaining eggs. LOL
