    Excellent job Giles in explaining a very important part of the golf swing! By incorporating "tilt" into the golf swing, one automatically removes a lot of errors affiliated with this missing link. I have been working on getting a correct "tilt" into my swing. Your suggestions of "left shoulder down and around/right shoulder down and around" should help to infuse this into my psyche! Well Done Giles!!!

    Recently figured out this is why I pull the ball, too flat with shoulders back and through and right shoulder would move out first, club following shoulders. Working on maintaining tilt and results are much better but seem to be hitting the ball too high now, don't think I'm getting enough shaft lean now through impact so working on that. I would tend to hit ball thin before and contact is much better too keeping shoulder down through impact, good stuff, thanks
    Another teacher on YT shows that pros left shoulder tilt back is around 41 degrees and right shoulder through is about 55 degrees down, so it steepens, doesn't trace the same path back and through.

      @Gilesgillgolf  10 месяцев назад +1

      Depends on the player and matchup but if you try and think about those numbers it’s impossible to swing. Focus on maintain good tilt first and it will take care of themselves
