Mr. Gill,
After 34 years, I had to switch from righty to lefty due to a motorbike accident. As a lefty, I’ve really struggled with swinging properly and effectively swinging the club. I took lessons from two different club pros with little to no improvement, bc they started with where I was at rather than starting over. This video is by far the best video on recreating a proper and effective swing. This will forever remain in my RUclips library. Cheers and thank you from Texas.

I went to the range today and used the chop stick drill to incorporate more right bend in my swing. The results were mind boggling (good)! I’ve had a love hate relationship with miy driver for years but today I was actually understanding my swing with this club. I hit several drives right down my target line! … and it felt great. You are one of the best instructors out there, Giles. I’ll be watching this video over and over to incorporate. Many suggestions in my swing as possible. Next up if the alignment stick across my toes and upward. I’m hoping to improve my carry distance (about 210 with ~240 total). Any other of your videos on improving distance would be greatly appreciated. Again, many thanks!!!

Brilliant easy to follow tuition without resorting to "how tour players hit". The chopsticks is a revelation about how wrong my downswing action is. Too much fear on the course to implement the right sequencing. Will need to muscle memory this to beat out the bad habit. Thanks

Excellent Excellent video with great realistic concepts to follow. My driver is all over the map with spin rates near 6000 at times with constant right of target swing path. Believe or not even with crappy swing I do see 245yards ....I'm thinking 25 extra yards are in the bag. Fingers crossed. 65yr old lefty.

Hey I got problems with my driving I used to drive 99 to 100% and far away is now I am slicing everything what is causing that I don't know because I change drivers or what I changed to a TaylorMade burner and I don't know if that's what makes me up or what could you give me some do I need to get a new driver or what I do I really appreciate your videos due to a hell of a good job keep up the good work I am from North Carolina

U did an excellent job on this- direct- precise- and no blah blah talk! You gave training aids as well. Helped me greatly.. Im getting 280 off the tee consistently. I was struggling with take away and this helped right here immensely- 0:18:32 and 0:25:04 ... this has got to be the BEST tutorial on the internet on how to hit driver Hands Down! Oh if only my back would allow me to twist and compress the lower back with all that side bend and extension! I'll do the best I can, but my chop sticks won't be hitting each other any time soon. Another great video btw!

Will do. I've been working on my impact position and I'm figuring out how to get in that position without hurting myself! For me it comes down to a lot of side bend that makes it possible to open the hips. I am finding I'm getting a nice strike with more downward attack angle than I used to get. So far, so good. I've shared your videos with friends. They're probably the most thorough and clear videos I've seen and I've seen a lot of videos! Keep up the good work.@@Gilesgillgolf
