I can't imagine another "rock" band writing a song like this. It is so esoteric in its musical sensibilities and that raw emotion is out of this world. The reason a band like The Cure is so adored is due to their art that transcends mere entertainment. These are all the cryptic masterpieces one would return to time and time again.

I am hard death metal to the core yet can't escape this man's mastery of his manipulation of one's soul and angst
Drums and bass generates firmly and professional rhytm and guitar makes that sweet melancholy which is trademark of most their songs.. Smith's voice is cherry on top of cake.. I could listen these songs all day long..

A very raw nightmare so painfully depicted with such angst...Robert loves Mary with all his heart this song he choked out each word like an exorcism of sorts...they are soulmates. ❤
