By midnight, everyone was drunk, dancing and fooling adound, but i was on the edge of the balcony, holding her in my arms, listening to this song on my headphone and gazing at the sky, knowing very well that was the end. I tried no to cry so much because i didn’t wanted to make her sad, but when i looked at her, she was weeping as much as me. It is impossible to listen to this and not be transportet to that very moment again.

the cure especially this song holds such a resonance with my life. my best freind used to have a the cure poster hanging in his room and he's not alive anymore. im addicted to opiates and withdrawing and i cant stop relapsing. every day for me is so cold and nothing is true. hit the nail right on the head with this one.

This is a good video because I can look back into the past to 2000 just after the Bloodflower album 1998. One such look back is my 2002 Trilogy from Berlin. Its all about ups and lows of cure relationships some long and some short. Time had run out then as one reaches middle life. And this is a song metaphore of Robert and Cure life till then. Now its 2021 and I can see what he meant
