Studio version is the most beautiful song ever
Studio version is so much better. All the different nuances of James's voice, and just the flow of it. This live version is awful. This is my favorite Metallica song, and you lose all of the great things about it in this video.
This song is about how James tried to stop drinking and he couldn’t and he’s taking “that leash” that is leading him. Therefore “bleeding” himself
I thought it's a "leech" that's "bleeding" him, meaning drinking his "bad blood"?

@@etdaemoniumresurget3496 Vocals too. I’m glad I got to meet him once. Really nice guy. Zakk Wylie was drunk and tried to fight him and Sharon had to come drag him back to the bus. It was crazy. I have picture of it. It happened 3 feet from me while I was at the autograph table.

I don't like Jason's body language while performing. I'm sorry I'm probably going to piss off some of you but he kinda looks goofy and it gets worse the older he gets! Now he used to have badass moves around 90. Don't know what happened. Just a bit goofy as he performs.

Si vous écouter du metallica entre 1983 et 1995, ça sera violent (comme master of Puppets, dyers eve), entre 1995 et 2003 c’est plus calme, moins métal (bledding me par exemple), et après 2003 ça redevient assez violent mais avec de l’âge (moth into flame, Spit out the bones) 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
The... ah... 'tetes' were out probably because it was 38-40C during the day on mostly asphalt with no shade... so it wouldn't cool off all that much by the early evening, probably still 35C. Everyone was baked, in the bad way....

@@yazidknopfler8640 you're entitled to your opinion buddy, matter of taste I guess, but I actually love the subtle nuances in his delivery on the original album version that he can't recreate live. Like when he sings "caught under wheels... Can't stop to save my SO-OUL!" in the last section of the song, it sounds like a slight stutter, but to me it sounds like his soul just literally left his body! I LOVE THAT 😂 so I prefer the original the best. Peace ✌️

Yeah the album version is much better than the live version at least this one. This is from "Load". My favorite from that album. That album was a big departure from their previous thrash and power metal albums. Just another facet of a multifaceted band.

A decent live performance of Bleeding Me. Not one of their best but decent. Might I suggest Hate Train by Metallica? The studio version.
