bullying is such a serious problem, but false/misinterpreted allegations should never be able to taint an idol or groups reputation

I was so pissed off when Garam was kicked out because I knew that even if she did do that (she didn't), people CAN change.

I agree to a certain degree as she is a minor and still can grow and change, but the other person is most likely another minor whom life might have changed to the worst, especially in South Korea (I'm sure other places around the world) where bullying might take a dark turn and lead smn to ending their own life, I still believe forgiveness comes from the bullied one and not the fans or citizens.
Plus, what annoys me is people waiting until you are successful to talk about it, like most of it comes from jealousy too, it can always be done in private

people just use the rumours and accusation as a pass to send massive death threats and hate to a human being. bullying is indeed bad but people need to realise that the rumoured bullies are humans and can grow up to be better people (yes it still doesn’t change the past) but that does not mean you get to literally wish death upon a someone who’s rumoured to be a “bully”. and regardless using violence against someone to “teach them a lesson” is never okay.

I honestly find it so sad what happened to them. I can`t picture how Soojin and Garam must have felt after being kicktout. I even saw some weird people on Twitter saying after some photos of Garam from school dropped:"Oh, she is still living?". Like what the fuck?!🤨😳

I remember a bullying scandal with a group called April. The members were accused of bullying the maknae. The rumors were confirmed to be false, but the damage was done. They are now disbanded. It’s just like the scandal that ruined T-ara. T-ara where they were accused of bullying the newest member of the group and it completely ruined the group. They couldn’t rebuild their image and had to disband.

i’ve seen people use lia from itzy’s false bullying rumors as a means to bully her on the internet, as their “justification” of her “bad” dancing and the hate putting her on hiatus isn’t enough for them. it’s disgusting to watch how people condemn people who were accused of bullying by bullying them, they’re turning into a bully just to condemn someone who turns out to be the victim

Garam had like the most beautiful voice in le sserafim especially in sour grapes and i wish she was still in le sserafim. Bullying is not acceptable but lying abt something they didn't do. I feel bad for idols because they get treated like puppets but theyre people too and have feeling i hope that the kpop industry changes for the good.

It seriously wouldn’t surprise me if Garam was a publicity stunt.
At the end of the Le SSerafim documentary, they show the members reacting to their website announcing their debut going live… everyone is there, except for Garam.
I understand having to cut her out of the documentary… but why is she gone from that part?

What I always fail to understand is why keep quiet about said “bullying” till the person is successful. So nothing happens, then you hear or see that so and so got famous and, boom, suddenly you were bullied by them?
Why not say it as it happened so it can be addressed there and then. Make it make sense.

bullying kills people. the lengths that haters go to is crazy, but bullying is essentially murder without death. it kills the person that used to exist. leaves a shell. and sometimes there IS death.

just a few points that you made a mistake in but still should support your point:
Garam's accuser was given punishment level 8, not 6
the chalkboard photo was apparently dated to before IVE even debut (?) which suggests that it was photoshopped. There were also multiple other photoshopped pics, like making her skirt much shorter than it was, and saying taht she was smoking a cigarette but in truth it was a lollipop.

I also think that a person should have the right to grow and shouldn't be labelled as the next Führer for something they said in middle school. A 20 something year old is not the same person as a 15 year old for example. There are plenty of things I did as a younger person that I'd never do now because I grew and learned from those experiences. I think Koreans are right to have a strong stance against bullying culture, but they shouldn't condemn a person for actions they MAY HAVE done in the past without proper evidence. If you or I had something come out about some dumb stuff we did as a kid, no one would care. Maybe we'd have to apologize. But a famous person's career could be over because of a lie.

btw, teachers don’t do anything about bullying in korea. if they do, especially when a boy bullies a girl, it’s common for them to get complaints from the boys parents and then get fired. not excusing this girl for not collecting her screenshots, but there isn’t anything female students can substantially do in korea except get the public against them if they are a public figure.

No bc I’m still pissed on Garam’s case, that girl in the photos look NOTHINGGGGG like Garam what???? I swear ppl were either racist or stupid. Garam NEVER had bangs during her middle and high school life ??? She only had bangs in ELEMENTARY. That girl had BANGGGS‼️ also if you look at Garam she didn’t have shorter hair in the front of her hair like you WOULD if your bangs grew out in a few yrs.. 💀
Also ALL literally ALL of the “victims” “proof” didn’t match up like what??? The flower pot thing was proven FALSE, the chalk board incident with IVE.. is such an idiotic “proof” IVE debuted in what 2021 and that incident was BELIEVED to happen WAY BEFORE IVE debuted 💀 the post said Garam did it in FLIPPING MIDDLE SCHOOL, when Garam was in MIDDLE school IVE wasn’t even a thing then ??? people SAW the dates and STILL chose to bully Garam when it was proven IT WAS FAKE… the girl in the chalk board was NOT Garam. Smh 🤦‍♀️
And I 100% supported Garam the entire time and NEVER supported the “victim” which she’s the REALL bully.

Fans are wrong for bullying the accused idols, but it is not called bullying in S.K., it is called school violence. It is a serious problem in the country, especially due to the completely lacklustre juvenile laws where all they get is a slap on the wrist. The incident is recorded only by the school, not by the police, and even that is cleared after becoming an adult. Student suicide rates in S.K. have sky-rocketed in the past few years due to these minors knowing that they will get away with it. S. Korean bullies, unlike those commonly seen in the West, DO NOT come from broken families and have intense inferiority complexes, rather come from powerful families that they know will cover it up by throwing money. The materialistic culture in S. K. adds to this as well with people chasing trends like mad people all the time.

imo, I feel like kpop fans tend to go to two types of extremes when it comes to bullying scandals: attacking the accused or attacking the accuser. Idk if this will make sense but it feels like people are trying apply a "good guys" vs "bad guys" narrative to each case without considering complexity. This isn't to say that we shouldn't hold anyone accountable but we should be more critical & empathetic as well as learning how to better handle these situations (bc how are sending death threats going to help anyone?).
Also fake accusations are just going to make it harder for real victims to come out about their stories.

I disagree with what you first said about bullying because even it it happened years ago doesn’t mean that it’s okay and that he’s not done anything wrong. I know people change and grow went they get older but I don’t think it’s far to act like it doesn’t matter just because it happened a long time ago. Bullying affects people psychologically for years and causes a lot of harm to a person when they are developing . And the thing about no evidence sometimes it hard to get evindence depending on the type of bullying, if it’s things someone said it’s hard unless you record them (which I don’t know if that’s legal so most people wouldn’t do that because it’s risky) or have text messages. I think this is psychological bullying your talking about
Also I don’t agree with the people in this video with false allegations, I don’t like the first arguments you said as they can be used to victim blame and might make people scared to share what as happened to them.
Btw this is no hate to you or the idols you mentioned in this video just what I thought as someone who’s been bullied a lot.
