the hypocrisy of how IU shared her diet because she was struggling with bulimia and wanted to spread awareness but people turned that around made it into a trend. S.M.H 🤦🏻♀
akgae (ack-gay) are basically fans who only care about a specific member and hate on the rest of the members. so for example a wonyoung akgae is someone who only cares about wonyoung and hates on the other members basically
You are sensitive, and we need more people like you in the kpop community. Is horrifying how people treat idols in a daily basis. Keep doing your good work
Honestly i could understand idols having nutritionists and trainers because they do need to have a good amount of stamina for performances. However, restricting their diets along with a significant lack of sleep is most definitely one of the reasons why we see idols constantly complaining of being exhausted, passing out on stage, and experiencing depression, anxiety, and other mental illnesses. They are physically and psychologically suffering from their own companies and fans ridiculous standards.
the rib cage showing comments annoy me so much, especially as someone who has stomach fat and still my rib cage shows. also i was so upset for Liz, i just want her to eat well and be happy 😭 people need to mind their business
6:15 yes!!! this! i’m 5’7 ish and 155~60 lbs (with less stomach fat, more hips and thighs) but if i dance or move a certain way even in a certain top, my rib cage would show. idk why we have decided that ribcage showing = having an eating d*srdr
its really annoying when people bring up jeongyeons weight. she is literally beautiful and people shame her for bodytype and she can't control it no matter how much she tries. anyways love your videos
Honestly a lot of kpop idols probably have eds BUTTTT its not the fans place to comment whatsoever. Fans mentioning weight of a certain idol all the time probably makes them more self conscious. The hyperfixation on weight has even made me self conscious. Thank you for addressing this issue❤
Well said. Also i love your plain background. It's a nice break from the decorated backgrounds of many commentary channels, & makes me feel visually relaxed & focused on the message more : ) i also just have sensory issues though so it could just be me lol. I enjoy the unique tranquility regardless!
Someone told me that my videos would be better if I upgraded the background, but thanks to this comment I will keep it simple. I feel the same way, although I’m more of a RUclips audio listener. I hate how manufactured RUclips has become and I miss people just sitting and talking in their bedrooms
6:15 dude im 171 with 55 or smth kilograms and the way its distributed is pretty even i have fat coating everything right and even then if i arch you will see my ribcage. It because you are MOVING. Your body changes shape according to how you MOVE
sometimes I would really love to see the ages of the people who comment. I mean, imagine all this hate is coming from 13-year olds, you wouldn’t take it that serious if you would know that. But because the internet is anonymous, you automatically assume that the people who comment, are somewhat mature and not literal teenagers who are hell themselves anyway 😢
10:53 well if having conscience and not being a heartless internet user with an IQ below 70 is being "too sensitive", then yes by all means i'm too sensitive just like you🤝💗 and i think everyone should be like this. We NEED MORE sensitive people like you.❤
People want to hate on idols so they find weight as one of them. They actually don't care about their health. Not too fat, skinny but not too skinny. I have a feeling that these fans feel better when they realize that they have control over what an idol should or should not do. The worst one was assuming that Liz from ive got less lines in kitsch due to her weight. Just making assumption to make her a victim for getting less line in *one* song or wants to pity stan her. And the other one was Yuna, why were people making big deal about her wearing hip pad? Isn't it like wearing padded bras? Even if she is, what's the big deal. Why was it such a big discussion? For months I see new news of her and hip pad discussion.
I really really feel this way because I’m on the heavier side due to my genetics and natural features and when I see people saying jeongyeon looks fat or obese when she isn’t makes me feel horrible about myself😢, btw you have great content❤ love you😊
I absolutely love your videos, I've been binging them the past few days ❤ I also just wish us as a society just develop to not comment on people's bodies ever. Netizens just love to hate on the people they Stan, it's like a toxic culture. I also like what you said about netizens wanting something unhuman, what they want is a goddess which is crazy
i always thought about it when i see people hating on Shindong for being “fat” but at the same time see them preaching about how it’s wrong to body shame. According to them dragging him for his weight is okay because “he deserved it”… which is like… can bodyshaming be “deserved”? It’s like they don’t realize that bodyshaming is wrong not because you like that person but it just wrong as a concept.. When you’re insulting him at the same time you’re insulting everyone which that weight..
I think people say he deserves it because he used to fat shame women in the industry when he, himself, is overweight compared to those he fat shamed that were actually a normal weight
from personal experience ribcage showing is kind of just a natural bone structure/body composition/thickness of skin sort of thing, especially in the positions they've been criticizing yuna for which is literally moves in which she's stretching and her ribcage is expanding. i've gone from slightly underweight to normal weight and it literally didn't make a difference at all and my ribs still show completely because i don't put on fat around my ribcage at all. literally nothing i do matters. personally as a dancer they absolutely could be undereating to some extent that's unhealthy because one of the main things a lot of idols struggle with is sufficient strength in their dancing and they end up being too loose or too tense (doesn't really apply to yuna but it would apply to wonyoung). it's partly a technique issue and partly a muscle strength issue and for the amount that idols dance i'm tempted to say it's usually a lack of strength because repeating those movements that much should build up your muscle and that could be a diet thing. but at the same time, being a little flimsy and starving are completely different things. if idols really were undereating to the extent that fans make them out to be, they wouldn't be able to stand, let alone do a dance routine. for reference, at a time when i was too physically weak to complete a dance routine with full energy like you would on a stage, i was still regularly going on 6k runs 3x a week. if wonyoung was actually starving herself she would have collapsed on stage by now.
I'm the same height as wonyoung and also fairly thin so I'm happy you brought the height up! It's 100% true that its harder to gain fat in your arms and legs when you are that height. Your limbs are longer and of course the bones of your wrist and legs are more pronounced as well. I imagine idols have some muscle built up in their legs from always dancing and doesn't wonyoung also do pilates? Regardless, I hate how often kpop fans comment on idols bodies.
I wish I had the same problem as other tall people. I am 184 cm and I gain weight really quickly and hardly Lose it. Guess everybody is different at last...
the rib cage showing thing annoys me so god damn much, and i have a bit of stomach fat but most of my fat in directed on my thighs. Also before anyone says anything,im a healthy weight ok,jst pls keep your opinions to yourself.
I don't think it is important. The fact that we are debatting about it is a problem, why are we scruting her body anyway? If she is, it is ok, if she didn't, it is also ok.

Oh you explained. I just commented with an explanation too 😭 sorry I didn't see it !

@@FahimHoqFor me, it was Stray Kids and Hyunjin akgaes
