I think that ppl like to keep saying how NJ did nothing wrong in speaking up about their mistreatment and everything and if they have just been advocating about being treated better by the company, everyone will be on their side. But no, they made it all about how mhj is the *only* one who is good to them and instead of advocating for themselves, they are actually standing up for mhj, who is the real bully here. So no, I find it weird how ppl can stand by NJ and against bullying while conveniently ignoring the fact that NJ has and is still actively supporting a bully.

genuine question: why is thinking Le Sserafim have bad vocals not a valid reason to dislike them? that's like saying you're not allowed to dislike a movie for having a bad plot, or a video game for havind bad gameplay. because "we" say that's not what you should focus on honestly, I really liked Sserafim a while back (they were the one saving grace of Hybe imo) but their last two comebacks were not my thing, personally. but i'd be lying if I said that the final nail on their coffin for me wasn't their Coachella performance. obviously people like groups for different reasons. and many times, vocals are not the only reason why people choose to stan groups vs not. but to me vocals (along with actually good music) are some of the most important factors. it's kind of frustrating seeing all these Hybe groups (especially girl groups) coming in one after another and just destroying the charts off name alone when it's clear many of these people were not prepared/trained enough to debut. and the members themselves are also to blame to a degree cause let's be frank, people know when they can sing and when they can't. and they can choose to try and improve or not I don't hate the Sserafim girls, and people who harass them are obviously in the wrong and take things too far. i'm also not saying your rappers and dancers need to have Taeyeon level vocals. but when every member strugglesto even hold a note, and hasn't improved in years.. yea honestly I kinda really dislike that

btw, teachers don’t do anything about bullying in korea. if they do, especially when a boy bullies a girl, it’s common for them to get complaints from the boys parents and then get fired. not excusing this girl for not collecting her screenshots, but there isn’t anything female students can substantially do in korea except get the public against them if they are a public figure.

Belift definitely missed out the chance for a perfect survival show lineup who could pull off many concepts. The members illit ended up with are talented but have yet to properly hone their skills. Also the concept is just so bizarre not in a sense that it’s horrible but in a way that it makes no sense for them to have debuted with such a concept. All the members except one ( Wonhee) fit a “badass” concept perfectly. I get the concept is marketable at the moment, but it won’t be forever. mhj even showed that apparently they were going to debut with a evil fantasy concept. I also don’t think illit plagiarised newjeans. Illit leans more towards dreamcore while newjeans focuses on y2k and nostalgia. The sounds might be a bit similar but in the music industry once a sound is proven to work, it never hurts to use the sound.

I can really understand that the girls stand with MHJ. As said, they know her at least since 2019. Considering their age it was an easy thing to form them in what MHJ wanted. Knowing that the rest of HYBE proberly doesnt want them to be succesful, makes them stick to the person that made them sucessfull in the first place. They still only young adult, that easierly can get influced and manipuilated. I hope they can get ut of this situation with as little damage as possible. I only can speak for ASTRO in this case, but with what happened in 2023 to them , they still in the healing process so everyone is rather focused on Solo activities. We got Circles as the first 4STRO song, that gave us the knowledge they not done yet. We got two solo debuts this year with Eunwoo and Sanha, both are focused on working through the pain with the music. I guess Jinjin will be the last one wih a solo debut and then entlist, which is why I kind of hope that this will be somewhere next year...Jinjin is publishing one song per month under his project, to show us different sides of him and laso may be for him to find his favorite style. (he produceds everything on his own) And Rocky left Astro so it is normal for him going solo and boy is living his best life and I'm so freaking happy for him, that he can try everything he always wanted to <3

Also what I find really frustrating is that these people who “analyse” what work someone has gotten done, analyses based off of PICTURES like bruhhhh HOW is that a trustworthy source, pictures get touched up and photoshopped all the time plus even if it wasn’t, filters camera lenses the lighting these things can literally change your entire face. I don’t even look the same in pictures I click on the same day, how can they tell based off on pictures how much work they’ve gotten done, it’s just STUPID

I don't think your example with Ed Sheeran is valid. Most of the international fans can speak English and everything is on the internet accessible to all. But I doubt most of the international fans can speak Korean, have Naver, Melon, and all that installed and used, and take time to learn and understand cultural nuances that are very different due to Confucianism and SK's history from reputable sources and not k-tubers. Of course, separatism is unproductive, but I don't think international fans should disregard the superiority of access to information that Korean fans have.
