The tippman m4-22 is a great training tool and way cheaper than spending thousands of dollars on 556 ammo. Iv got almost 3000 rds through mine. I put a monstrum 3x prism on it and have taken it out to 200 yards with no problem, it will make steel ring all day long. Iv been running the tippman with a taurus tx 22 compact. If you want to train for cheap, still get trigger time and get those reps in then it's your best bet.

Nice looking platform for a 22mag. I really like the 22mag. It packs a punch for a small caliber and it is easy to get on the market because they haven't banned the lower caliber munitions as yet. I really like the way in which you presented this. Great job.
Out of curiosity, what would need to be done to convert a regular m4-22 to a magnum version? Just magazine and bolt assembly? Barrel should be fine I would assume.

TODAY, 11/18/24 I PURCHHASED THE TIPPMANN M4-22 RCR 24 with your reviews on the Tippmann's performance on the other models. From my research, and hard to find on this model number, I hope it to be a Precision barrel. I shoot my CZ 457's in .22LR, .22 WMR, and my .17 HMR and they are great. So today I got the bug for a Semi Auto and attached my Romeo & Juliet on it. I hope the weather is nice tomorrow to give it a try. Until this video I didn’t realize the tippmans were milspec! I just assumed they were proprietary crap like all of the other ar22’s. I’m interested a lot more now!
Not completely "mil spec", but closer than any other AR 22lr. The newer ones have greater compatibility with AR safeties and triggers than earlier ones.

I’m a BIG fan of the CMMG 22LR conversion kits for AR-15s. Love that I can use my decked-out AR, optics, competition trigger etc and shoot cheap. I wonder if they (or anyone) makes a 22WMR conversion kit? 🤔🤔
In the UK we have a company called Guncraft that make AR15's in 22WMR, they are exceptional rifles using a Sassen-border barrels. The only downsides to these are the blackdog magazines which are 14 round and lack of last round bolt hold open. Be great to see if the magazines are interchangeable?
Good questions, and the price point. NWCP, Guncraft, T2 and Calibre Innovations are all offering 22wmr in the UK, but each cost almost £2k. Will be interesting to see what price the Tippman comes in at.

I have a 22 wmr Savage 93 bolt that I use with a Polonium K. People will actually go up to the range master and ask if I know that I don't have to come to a range for a BB gun. Hornady makes a nasty accurate round as well. Holes on holes.
FYI, Javelinas are NOT rodents, nor are they even closely related to them. They belong to the Artiodactyla order, together with pigs, llamas, camels, sheep, giraffes, and others. Javelinas are more similar to domestic pigs than they are to a rodent.
I could be wrong, but that last shot that opened up the group broke after an extended breath hold. My understanding is that if one holds their breath longer than 7 seconds their accuracy sill suffer even though the target appears crisp and sharp.

I think a 17hmr version of the tippman would be the best Compact, lightweight, and powerful enough to hunt small game with. Although I do like the operating system bear creek has. The British have had a 22 Magnum for many years. Bear creek has one too. The 22 AR is not new to the market. No one wanted to chamber it here. Beer creek chambers the 17 HMR. Do the preview on the 17 HMR uppers.
I looked on Tippmann's web site to find out if it's possible to purchase just the upper and would it fit on the lower of the M4 22. ( Upgrade the wife's rifle). Nothing on the website. Does anyone know if it's possible ? Great video.
It can easily be a lot of factors, including the placement of the mic, as well microphones only pick up so much sound. For example ( his microphone is closer to where the bolt is cycling why it seems to be quieter than when you shoot.)
I know Winchester do a subsonic 22WMR round which I can occasionally find for sale here in New Zealand. It's getting really expensive here now so I tend to stick to 22LR subs.

Could you compare a Tippmann 22lr with a dedicater upper like a BCA? An AR15 lower counts only once on my permit (max 5 guns where I live), but perhaps the Tippmann is more accurate and relyable?
