@@codyp49 The only reason to even bother crafting most of them is so that you can craft Gotterdammerung and then Ultima Weapon in Final Fantasy Mode. Other than that, they're quickly outgrown or just outright disposable.
Honestly wish the game had transmog for the weapons, since they are really the only thing on Clive you can customize. I just want to use the Invictus the entire game, such a pretty sword.
You mean keep all the skins of every sword and change as you want? That would be cool. I wish there was skins you could obtain through quests like in Ghosts of Tsushima. Quite a simple addition, but it would make those non essential side quests more rewarding.
Along with transmog, I wish the belts and bracers you get were visible on Clive as well. Some of them look really cool. It's a great game, but it's missing so many cool little customizable features that most modern games already have

Hardest fight was the S rank dragon, and because it was level 50 and I was only level 39 when I fought it. What a clown thing to say anyways. If the first half of the game was a cakewalk it's not like it was going to suddenly ratchet up or anything. So funny to see you guys butthurt that some people are proficient at action games. Now I understand why so many still wanted turn-based combat, no reflexes for action-based. I'm gonna take a few days off before I start Final Fantasy mode in NG+, but I'll be happy to upload clips of me tearing through that with no issue either. But regardless, it doesn't change the fact that you made a clown ass statement. Thinking a mid-game sword with 268 dmg is gonna be important in NG+ when you have swords over 325 dmg by the end of the game. Is this your first Final Fantasy? First rpg at all?

NG+ has final fantasy difficulty which raises lvl cap to 100 and apprerently Is Harder then Base game and also Ultimaniac mode which is hardest difficulty which I've heard is quite brutal
man the4y really screwed up the weapons in this game. to me, by far the weapon system is one of the worst. its literaly a stat stick. no personality besides damage/stun. why couldnt they do something fun with it? what's the point of "upgrading it all it does is "deal 5 more damage"? i wish they went with something closer to FFX or KH2.
@@TerrannotOP Compared to other FF games, it's short as hell. The side quests are linear and pretty uninteresting while the chapter are just linear paths with no puzzle solving or real exploration. Combat system is cool but a lot of the battles as well are just HP fluff, every boss fight is like an hour for no reason. Shorter more difficult fights would've been better than long grinds.

I am level 40 close to 40 hrs when I beat it and it usually take me 2-3 days to beat any FF games. Only 1-2% on psn has beaten the mainstory, cutscenes alone are about 20hrs long lol.

You get a sword called Brightburn almost immediately after this that is slightly better than Excalibur, but it's still a pretty cool weapon to have.
That's why I was here I wasn't sure if it had some other stats I didn't know about that'd make it worthwhile but here I am now using brightburn
