Garuda's class ability is actually really good. It's meant to be used when you get the enemy stagger meter to half when they get partially staggered which gives you more time to attack.
I am gonna say something that many people will not like but i think i start to see the shortcomings of FF 16 The game is basically like Forspoken ( in terms of its combat ) , but actually worse in a way. When Forspokens problem was the writing and dialogue, ff16 problem is actually the environment and how the main character moves in it. ff 16 feels like the NPCs and characters are not part of the environment ... it feels like the environment is some back round picture and then you put on it some figures cut out of paper that move. While in ELDEN RING the characters and the environment feel like one , in FF 16 its like two different things . The way the characters move on the ground, run etc feels not real, not smooth. Maybe i lack the words to describe it, but moving around in ELDEN RIng felt much better and when i look Forspoken game play, the way the character moves feels more tired with the ground and environment... while FF16 doesn't feel like that. I got a PS 5 just some days ago specifically for ff 16 ( and of course future PS 5 games ) but so far i have to say ff 16 environments and how the character moves in it feels lifeless and artificial, as if not much work was put into it. FF7 remake feels much better, elden ring feels much better . _____________________________________________ Also i have to say the in games VOICE volume ( character voice volume ) is really quiet ..i have it all at max and i still can barely hear them while the games music is way louder and the effects are way louder . I think it should be Phoenix Flames of Rebirth, not Ifrit. Don't use gigaflare right away. You need to stack up the damage multiplier first and make it a last skill since ultimates tend to super slow the time. To get that 1.5x damage early is the priority to burst staggered enemies. One quick tip is to use the will-something shield of fire PLUS ramus lightning rod. 2-3s it will be 1.5x multiplier
