If he’s still in the chair, talk to the black knight leaning on a pillar and exhaust all of both of their dialogue if you haven’t done so already, that should make him leave his chair if anyone is having any issues

Exhausted all dialogue and got the 3rd map but he's still sitting in the chair. Is there anything else that I need to do for this?

@@FaustDeadeye15 u have to exhaust all of his dialogue by asking him all the questions that what i just did
After talking to the black knight, go talk to Yamir and exhaust his dialogue again as there will be more. Then he will move after resting until nightfall
the staff of the great beyond also lets you cast incantations on top of sorceries which is dope

Damn I didn't read that or I must have forgotten. My max staff of loss just got retired 😅
Shame this staff is still completely out classed by other staffs and seals.
It's REAL utility is just putting it in the hands of your mimic, or if your more incantation focused as there are int/faith scaling staffs that have well over 400 scaling, while this staff caps out on the low 300's.

@@philipk9345 yes, the skill is similar to Hand of Melania but it's only 1 flurry that goes through guards, felt really good against those knights with shields

There's more to the Jolan spirit ash as it can be combined with her sister that is a doll at Rabbath's Rise turning it into a duo spirit summon.

things to note:
1# both the sword and shield and PURELY dex scaling weapons
2# the Shields ash of war is more than JUST a projectile, if you've blocked a spell with your shield and then use its ash of war it fires a beefed up projectile instead of the usual puny one, almost like a miniature erdtree great shield
I respect for the tutorial, cheers for that, but you probably want to ditch that scarseal as soon as possible

Finding out Elden Ring puzzles on your own is a miracle stg.
Do you have to defeat any boss before this area is accessible?
So the tear helm just for future referance, wont affect your build at all. Unless you just want a little more item discovery. It will however reduce your physical ar.
Wish the armor was a bit better stat wise but it looks awesome. I used this guide to find it
I unfortunately missed out on getting the sword will need to get it in my Journey 3 run as I gave her the Iris that rewards you with her Spirit Ashes also you don't need to get off the pot it will just go back up and take you to the armor and shield

For the finger mother boss the rakshasa great katana does work on ng+5 and for the invaders and second boss and the omen killer the spear of the impaler makes the fight trivial
do you have to do the whole quest again if you gave the other one to the knight sitting on the pilar
They always make the katanas best looking swords

@PhillyBeatzGames Its worth noting that raising your arcane does not make the bleed on those weapons more effective. You need a weapon that scales Arcane natively for that to happen. You can see this by looking at the blood loss build up of Moonveil and then the blood loss build up of say Reduvia. If you then raise your arcane by putting on that helmet or a talisman or whatever, you'll see that the bloodloss buildup is the same on Moonveil, but it will have gone up on Reduvia since it has native Arcane scaling. You can put Arcane scaling on weapons that allow you to apply an ash of war to them and choosing one with the blood affinity.

Tip for metyr, use lightning spells it absolutely kills her. I personally used knights lighting spear you get from the huddle area of scorpion catacombs

For the armor and shield go to Bonny Gaol and the last pot elevator that goes to boss room, stay on it. When it goes back up it will take you to another level.

For the Iris of Occultation, there's a little bug, after you pull the lever in Shadow Peak, instead of going back to your direction head to the other side instead and do a little but of platforming, when tou see a Stake of Marika and a Grace rest to it(Idunno if touching it is enoigh but I rest on it) and then teleport back to the Site of Grace at the Entrance of the Shadow Peak you'll get the Iris of Occultation without fighting the guy in the fort, how? Bug :/
