Paul, thank you so much for this video! I had some issues in my Bermuda lawn and thought I had insect issues, but after I sprayed I didn't see much improvement. After watching this video I applied fungicide and boom! Improvement. I appreciate you sir, and thanks again for the video!
We went through something similar here in Ohio. Cool season KBG having red thread and dollar spot that faded into the heat stressed turf. Hard to tell what the heck was going on so I decided to put down some ppz and thiphanate methyl. Glad I did because it’s coming back out of it now. The drought and heat really made a challenge of deciding to apply fungicides or roll the dice on calling it heat stress
Hey Paul, got a question for you… went on vacation and my neighbor decided to “help” me. Scalped my St Augustine (it was looking the best it ever had, so upset) 2 years ago I had a fungus issue… now with the amount of watering I have to do should I apply fungicide or will that harm an already stressed lawn? I think I can get most of it back but I’m worried about the overwatering… anything else you would add I’m hearing maybe Iron but to stay clear of Nitrogen right away…
I wouldn’t be afraid to give it some nitrogen… for st Augustine a fungicide probably not a bad idea either… I would avoid propaconazoil because it can stunt the grass and if yours is heavily stressed…🔥
Hey Paul, i thought dollar spot wont grow out with fertilizer? I've heard it actually makes it worse? im in the north east ,cool season grass, Have a good rest of the season, your lawn looks good
In cool season turf it will not grow out. But in Bermuda because it grows so aggressive in the hot weather you can grow out your fungus issues sometimes
Paul, I've been having good results with armada fungicide in my fescue and my zoysia. it's a class 3 and 11 just like the propiconazole/azoxy mix. can't remember the names off the top of my head.
Does this happen predominantly in humid climates? Also, what’s that big Christmas tree looking shrub called? Thanks in advance. I’d say your yard is looking pretty good for the little bit of rain you said you’ve had. I’m in Southern CA. and many are cutting water off to their lawns bc they say they can’t keep it nice, on two or three days a week. 😆 Seems like some are looking for an excuse to not mow or to hire a gardener. Your landscape looks like an irrigated property over here! Those flowerbeds are looking prime!
@@PaulsPrimeCuts the big ones on the sides of your patio that are about roof height and Christmas tree shaped. I see a lot of boxwoods trimmed up that way. Just wondering what type of tree/shrub variety those are.
Hey Paul wtf is a damn neematoads? I hear you and Rey in grass factor with Matt always talking about it but I’m clueless when y’all mention it? Can you maybe go into it more or over it in another video sometime?

Thanks Paul just horrible weather in middle TN. Got bone dry immediately into tropical..
Same here June was a zero rain event
The cold 12° night we had in early March after greening up had started put a real hurt on all grasses this year. Stunted them for weeks...
It did indeed
Thanks for the video! Where's the cigar?
I'm always expecting you to have a cigar in hand, especially when you're at home.
First time I've seen it in my Florida common Bermuda. It's been dry until recently. Unfortunately we are in a fertilizer ban until October here.
I think the dry weather has actually made it more prevalent

Headway is the Azoxystrobin propaconazoil mix. Armada would be good on dollar spot it has a powerful strobie in it.
I have so much chemicals on my lawn I had to put a no smoking sign on my lawn.
😂

We had some good rain over the weekend it helped the lawn out quite a bit … I’m not sure what shrub your asking about

Are we going to get fall armyworms this year? Don't tell us after the lawns are all ate up.
I know right. This guy tells us what’s going to happen after the fact. SMH 😂 how much the shrub trimming job pay?
Unrelenting heat here and dryer than a popcorn fart. Send some rain this way....I'm crispy
We have been super dry and hot until this weekend
Do you use growth regulators on bermuda lawns.
Some of them
@@PaulsPrimeCutsGrowth regulators~ just curious if that could slow Bermuda from growing out of dollarspot.
@@stevewilley5185 it could but this is showing up in all treatment level yards

Just my opinion……boost the P.
Anyone tried the soapy water test for fall armyworms yet this summer?
Hey bro before you trim that overgrown holly CUT it down.
I have not seen any yet
