    Good video. I like to put granular down to prevent and liquid to treat. If it’s really bad I do both granular and liquid. Just make sure you use different class of fungicide for each product. My combo of choice is Scott’s Disease Ex granular and Propoconizole liquid. Good luck with fungus problems!

    Solid approach. I alternate Disease-Ex (Azoxystrobin) and Propiconazole liquid. I apply each monthly, one week apart. I'm do this weekend but noticed a few suspicious patches last weekend so I hit with liquid Propiconazole and it looks better already. We're in the thick of it now so everyone needs to stay on top of it.

    I use the liquid every 20 days currently (July in Missouri), especially when the humidity is above 50%. Works great, must apply before temps get above 85 degrees . If you don’t have the red trigger on the blue bottle, you have to put something at the end of your hose to control the water pressure, between the hose end and bottle. Otherwise the red trigger works great. Excellent video, thank you. Im subscribing

    Pretty sure 2.52% relates to 32 oz of liquid. So 2.52% of the 32 oz in the container is the active ingredient, It then gets dispersed at a reduced percentage as it mixes with water from the hose. The container is designed to mix the active ingredient to provide treatment over a 5000 sq ft area when mixed with water from the hose.

      Starts work in 24 hours and those spots won’t just disappear 🫠. It can take weeks. My suggestion is to stay on you regular lawn care program until it goes away. I personally recommend the liquid for faster results. That granular product won’t work unless you water it in. Read the product label for best results.

    @craigphillips3154 Год назад +1

    I will respectfully disagree with one part of this video. You can't compare the percentage of active ingredient between the granular and the spray. It's apples to oranges.
    First, you're comparing a 10-pound bag to a 32-fluid-ounce bottle that weighs substantially less than 10 pounds. Second, the liquid gets automatically mixed with water, probably at about a 20-1 rate, so the concentration immediately goes way down when applied. And, the granular has to be watered in in order to activate it. Because both products require additional water, you can't look at the amount of active ingredient and make a determination of which is "stronger". There are too many other factors involved with it.
    With all of that said, I just applied the liquid for all of the other reasons you mentioned. It's so much easier and quicker to apply. I applied it 3-4 days ago and then got 3/4" of rain yesterday. I checked my lawn this morning and almost all of the "spider webs" (my daughter said it looked like lint) are gone now.

    • @BYDonBermudaGrassCentral
      @BYDonBermudaGrassCentral  Год назад +1

      I’ll respectfully disagree with you. Liquid reacts faster and kills of prevents faster, the granular reaction is slower. The video is to make it simple for the average homeowner. When you go so technical like you’re trying to do you confuse the consumer. More chemicals would generally equal faster reaction. Granular is more preventative and liquid cures and fixes faster. All that extra math runs the average viewer away from D I Y Craig. This is not up for debate it’s to make it simple so most can understand 👍🏾
