Living Sacrifice and Training For Utopia are the best Christian bands to come out of the 90’s / Solid State in my opinion.
Living Sacrifice + Project 86 + Stavesacre is one of the best tour lineups of all time. I wish I could have been at FF but I'm just glad to hear they still rock out and have fun doing it.
The obscure disco duck reference really dates me🙃
Living Sacrifice 🖤🔥 Legends
Love this guy, your music, especially the album "Reborn" have changed my life...
Thanks for this. Bruce may or may not know, Living Sacrifice was one of the most influential and inspiring bands in my life. I lived an hour away, in Hot Springs and was into all the same type of music that Bruce mentioned at the bands start. I and my friends/musical acquaintances/Godless heathens would drive to LR to see you guys play, and would literally say “I can’t believe they are a ‘Christian’ band. I won’t go into ridiculous detail, but LS was an integral part in the progress of my life and career. It has been one that I couldn’t have imagined the trajectory of my life to have taken. In the few times that he and I have ever had a conversation, I’ve not had the awareness to let him know that, so I am here.
Thank you, Bruce and all of the members of LS (current and past) for being true to your art and journey. As you well know, It hasn’t gone unnoticed.
…and yeah, DJ was like a beautiful Russian model
I stepped on his foot in Dallas once. We were both trying to make our way through a packed crowd and bumped into each other. He apologized to me even though I had to have crushed his foot.
The Hammering Process is LS’ best work! I hope they think along those lines when they release new tunes 🤘🏻. Loved the raw but good production on that album.
Thanks for bringing attention to a band that changed my life
Talk about a blast from the past....
Playing guitar has changed my life for the better and I credit L.S.
I love Bruce
he’s so great!
Great chat! Much love for Bruce, a very talented, kind and all around great guy!
The best!
I saw these guys in a church in 2000 and they had two drummers and it was sick
Let me remix Nonexistent. Please.
It was all about L.S. & Believer😝
Why is it that all these guys that have been playing Furnace Fest seem to be afraid to talk about God or timid?? I don't get it.
Besides Holyname there wasn't a single "Christian" band that was overtly Christian. Now is the time to have zero fear in the face of the adversary.
@@youvegotmysong that's what I mean! Like what happened??
i can assure you tommy green isn’t the kind of christian you think he is
@theblacksheeppodcast oh I know. I'm talking about the others I've seen, cussing and being hesitant to talk about Jesus or wanting to break out of the "Jesus market" idk dude seems when I first heard them they were bout Christ and recently I'm seeing they make it seem like it was a phase...
