If you think that a random project dude is cheating on his girl/wife is a problem, but ignore that 1 in 25 men are the biological fathers, you are a huge part of the problem ! This is why the left and the right are the wings of the same bird. Both of you clowns refuse and/or are to scared to hold females accountable for their actions ! Bring back shaming females ! Men are getting sick and tired of you females not being accountable and act like entitled spoiled brats
Let this be a lesson: People who talk about how much they love something, to the point they sound like a record on repeat, are probably putting on a front.
Exactly! Seen it many times myself and it makes the person look like an even bigger loser in the end. Feel bad for Ariel and the kids cause it's out there for all the world to see, forever.

From someone who's been married a while (14y) and has a happy marriage - You tend to SHOW your love for your spouse, not really talk about it. When you are happy and secure in the relationship you don't feel the need to broadcast it. You just live it.
Wife and I have been married for 12 years. It's been rad. My advice is find someone who shares your values. Those values will form the foundation of everything you build.
I think Ned was more obsessed with the idea of having a picture perfect life instead of actually caring to nurture it. Once he realized his family was a paycheck he stopped caring about morality.
And what about Alex? I thought that women stick to together to have always preached to other women not allowing men to emotionally hurt women? But, there's always women knowingly being involved with a married doing the opposite of what you all preach about. Somehow Alex manage to walk away unscathed from their cheating on each other mates and Ned is the Bad Guy.

My parents and I went to the wedding of a family friend last week. They did the whole "all married couples to the dance floor, please" thing. By the end of it, my parents were the final couple on the dance floor. Come January, they will have been married 30 years. It hasn't been absolute bliss for 30 years, but they've fought for it and for each other and our family. My dad turned down promotions because it would mean less time with his sons. My mom has been a homemaker more of the marriage than not because of health issues. Marriage isn't a "social construct" it's a choice. It's a vow. "In sickness and in health" isn't until it no longer becomes convenient. "For richer or for poorer" isn't until it becomes too hard. My parents have absolutely gone to bed with huge arguments, but they've always known the other loves them unconditionally. My dad has taught me what it is to be a good husband and father, and I can only hope I'm half the one he has been to my mom.
It’s clear you had a good upbringing and sheltered life if you’re judging people who get divorced and thinking they just didn’t try to stick it out and split over pettiness.
@@FirstNameLastName-wt5to there are just too many people in the world to generalize this. I’m sure the original commenter would agree there are times and situation where divorce is understandable or warranted. I’m sure he isn’t blatantly judging every single person on planet earth who’s divorced.
You’ve got the nail on the head. Congrats to your parents on their upcoming 30th. My parents had over 50 years and were together until the end. Real commitment isn’t something that fluctuates based on how you feel at the moment.
My husband is in the military and it’s so sad how much cheating goes on in our community. Someone my husband works with once told him “I don’t think I trust you because you DON’T cheat on your wife”. That’s how common and normalized it is.
I had a similar situation happen to me. We were married for over 10 years with 3 kids, and he had an affair with a coworker. We separated when I found out that the affair had continued on (when he had told me it hadn’t). Then he got her pregnant and didn’t tell me or our kids. A couple of months after our divorce was finalized, he married her…and again, did not tell our kids. Our kids hate the woman too btw. Since we’ve been separated, he’s tried to hook up with me several times…even since they’ve been married. I told him *I* don’t sleep with married men. Emphasis on the I. If someone is willing to break up their family to get with you, of course they’d be willing to do the same to you. People are way too willing to let the devil into their hearts, man. Prayers to this guy’s wife and kids, because the kids are the ones who really suffer.
these cheaters are selfish and it is literally so terrible to do this to the kids, basically ruining a whole parental relationship. I hope the cheating people of this world pay for their actions. With money, divorce pain and whatever God has in the afterlife
@@davideassis87 Ya they are both at fault here, I think the focus is more on Ned tho because he was the most famous and liked, I didn’t even recognize the producer nor do I care about her, I’ve enjoyed watching content that involved Ned for a long time...
Guys who overly publicly love on their wives are trying to convince you and themselves that they actually love them. Words don't mean shit. Social Media is a LIE. Love is active. It is always moving and working. It is not about saying I love you. It's about living it.
I don’t know if that’s always true. I think in this instance people will say that in hindsight. Things were also probably different before. A lot of people have not experienced becoming wealthy and famous and the temptation that probably comes with that. Once women know you’re rich and famous it is like a revolving door of them appear wearing anything they think will get your attention.
But literally no one, not even people who are close to married couples knows what truly goes on behind closed doors. You just don’t. You cannot be so surprised. Especially about “celebrities”.
My guess is Ned got burned out from being a father to a wife who’s either busy with her own work or the kids and wanted to feel young again and have fun. Then with Alex she had a 10 year engagement, idk that’s quite a long time to have an engagement and not pull the trigger. Like what are you waiting for? Your 40’s?
@@yota8325 well I was misinformed. That makes more sense, but still. I’d consider that a long time to not be married, especially when you’re in your 30’s.
@@yota8325 18 months!? 6 months is long enough. That is to say nothing of the absurdly long courtship. Oh wait. There was no courtship; they were only playing house.
I guess I'm just so surprised because it went on for so long. He's been part of Buzzfeed since 2014ish I think, maybe 2013. We've been hearing him talking about his wife for nearly 10 years. I figured if he was a cheater, it would have been exposed way back in 2015, not now, a decade later.
Same. I don’t plan on being on relationship any time soon, but I know that anyone can fall in love at any time. I would LOVE to be married some day, but fear being cheated on due to past experiences
It's not you, it's them. 100% them. There's nothing you could have done. Ariel is a perfect wife, she is an accomplished, successful woman, beautiful, raised 2 kids whilst he was chasing his dreams, talented af. She is a 10. And yet the bastard cheated on her.
My wonderful brother was cheated on by his gf of 8 years he waa ready to propose to and only held off a bit because our other brother was getting married and he didn't want to overshadow it so yeah. Cheating is nasty
Some people underestimate what cheating like this actually means. It's not just a broken trust, which is bad enough. It's exposing your spouse to potential health issues like STDs that they never would have had to worry about from their own monogamous behavior. For a celebrity it's exposing your entire family to the public eye in the worst way. It's the example you set for your children. Your sons might be led to think this behavior is normal for a man and your daughters may be led to believe this is the best they can hope for so they'd better just prepare for it. It's levels of awful that can't fully be described.
Oh quit with your virtue signaling. There is a diversity of relational philosophies on this planet and yours isn't a "one-size-fits-all". You have some growing up to do.
@@BigRodd91 Well what they said is true for all cases morally. I mean of course there's poly and open relationships but it's only okay if both people are fully aware of them sleeping others and are okay with it. But in no way is it okay to potentially ruin or even end your partner's life via cheating with not only STD but also potentially crazy love sick people ( one may cheat and sleep with someone who gets so jealous of the partner that they end the life of said partner) without both people's consent. That's not OK in any sense.
Both of them came from very long term relationships so STD's probably aren't a concern and the kids have more then one parent. They could possibly believe it's normal and what they should expect but they also have their mother to tell them different and validate their true worth. They also have plenty of money for therapists from the sounds of it. Yes, it's stupid and shitty and very public but people grieve and move on. Healing is a choice and hopefully they choose to do that.
I’m taking a class on successful marriages and families at BYU, and that lack of commitment is a pitfall we’ve talked about a lot. Marriage is a daily choice to improve yourself for another person. It’s super damaging to every part of society if we keep having these weak marriages. We need the family back as our societal unit!!
“We need the family back as our societal unit!!” Nice sentiment but sadly that’s not going to happen, it’s been damaged beyond repair. All anyone can do is improve themselves for there significant other, society though will continue towards its goal of destroying the family unit.
People also need God back in their lives. They need faith. People are trying to fill a spiritual hole with self while not realizing that nothing will fill that void unless it is with God through Christ. When you live for God then you are more likely to learn that you have to put yourself aside for many things in this world such as with your family. Marriage is a responsibility and obligation where you have to put yourself aside and CHOOSE your marriage. It's a lot easier to keep yourself morally grounded when you put God in the middle of everything. Society needs God to be more healthy and without Him in it then everyone lives only for themselves and their pleasure. A pleasure that leaves them more and more empty as time goes on.
@@isaacraze4301 You may be right but never give up hope. We don't know what the future holds. Just trust in Christ and obey his commandments. The end result might surprise us.
Start by getting rid of "no fault" divorce. Marriage in its current state is a TERRIBLE deal for men in all regards - legal, emotional, sexual, all of it. Women have everything to gain in marriage and everything to gain again in divorce. They can't lose and men can't win. The vast majority of divorces are filed by women. And yet it's men who are supposed to propose, which is why lately we've seen marriage rates plummeting. There are plenty of men who would love to be married but they've seen the havoc divorce wreaked on their father or friends/colleagues and so they don't propose even if they have a long term girlfriend. The producer in this story was dating for 10 years. Do you think Brett or anyone else is going to do a story on how J Lo being divorced 3 times sets a bad example for women/marriage? Or how Gisele divorcing Tom Brady is wrong? Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie just hired divorce lawyers. Did these guys cheat? No. Are the women divorcing them and getting a huge cash prize and custody of the kids as a reward? Yes.
I will never cheat on my husband. This may sound naive, but I firmly believe that if you love your partner you won't even be tempted to cheat because there's no chance of you being attracted to another person.
I agree.. I cannot IMAGINE even finding anyone besides my husband attractive in that way. Genuinely. There's nothing in me that does see him as the most attractive person.
I honestly was so disgusted by this, I used to watch them and the fact that his whole thing was “I love my wife” and then destroyed his family and made his wife look like a fool in front of the whole world is 🤢and he didn’t even try to hide it! Like kissing in a club?? Really?? Have some shame at least.
@Espiritu Phantom He literally exploited their marriage for views, made his entire personality his wife, they even worked together in the same company and everything they did there was around what a happy couple they were (like their podcast about being parents or their date cookbook and I’m sure plenty of other things) and then he cheated on her in a very public manner and with absolutely no shame AND with an employee, I don’t know about you but I know I would feel like an absolute fool if I went through that.
@Espiritu Phantom you don’t know me? I’m the type he would target because I said I would feel played if he played me? I’m sorry if you don’t feel like a fool after all of that you must not have liked the relationship very much 💀
There’s evidence that Ned and Alex have been together at least a year, and there’s evidence Ned was a serial cheater. More and more (pictures, statements from former coworkers) is coming out every day on Reddit and Twitter. I feel like this story isn’t over yet.
I've been married to my wife for nearly 20 years. We dated for two years before we got married. She was my first girlfriend and she's the only girl I've ever been with. She's been with me for the entire 21+ years I've been in the Army. Nearly half of that time has been spent apart because of job requirements. For the last three plus years we've had to live apart because of our careers. In all of that time, we've stayed faithful to each other and our love for one another has never faded. It takes committment to make a marriage work, and if we can keep our marriage strong and not cheat on each other despite spending so much time apart, then there is no reason why anyone else can't do that either. I have no sympathy for these weak minded men, because they can do better, they just don't want to.
@@cc4938 It can be true and still be virtue signaling. I'm just saying this guys whole thing was pretending to love his wife so your comment isn't in the best taste. If it's true then that's great, but how would we know because of the exact example we're reacting to now.
@@puffdaddy69 They’re also more politically divided than ever. A recent study found that 70% of men identified as Republican, while 70% of women identified as Democrats. Combine this with the current political and cultural zeitgeist, and it’s no wonder people aren’t getting married like they used to.
Engagement seems like the weirdest time to cheat. Cheating is vile no matter when, but when you’re engaged normally you’re just so excited to marry your fiancé and so head over heels for them, you’re looking forward to the rest of your life and wanting to do whatever you can to build a strong foundation. How do people end up cheating during that stage? If you realize you want something different, it’s your last chance to call it quits and you should do that instead of just marrying the person anyway and sneaking around. Make it make sense
I think it’s mostly how Ned literally screamed that he loved his wife and made money from her and their kids. I, for sure, blame her and while I do believe believe there could be a power imbalance, she for sure CHOSE this and chose to do it publicly.
I think we have to remember that no matter how much you “love” these people on tv or RUclips, you don’t know them at all, you don’t know what kind of person they are deep down. Just to learn who a person you’re dating can take years and that’s asking the rite questions and bringing walls down to do so, these entertainers are as much of a mask as a cartoon character is for the animators.
Honestly I’ve only seen ur shorts and sometimes I agree, other times I disagree, but now watching a video of yours I can really relate to your opinions even more. Even though youre conservative and I’m not, your sensible and have good core values. You express your opinions passionately while still being open minded, level headed, and not jumping on the hate bandwagon. Cool stuff.
Those females are California liberals. He got Leftist Cali ass, nothing to be excited about. I feel about for the fiancé cause his soon-to-be-wife cheated on him with a guy that has low T.
But supposedly the Try Guys knew about this whole behind the scenes relationship, but failed to address it sooner and once it was out, saved their brand by publicly stating that Ned was no longer accepted. They were going to continue as if nothing had changed if it had not been made public and could now damage their reputation severely. This is less about morals but brand protection 🤔
I think they were scrambling to come up with a response. They posted right before saying Ned was kicked out that they were going to post a lot less in October to "prepare for holiday videos" which some people believe meant come up with a public statement and figure out their brand without Ned.
Critical point. If their social media manager knew what was going on, they all definitely knew what was going on and did nothing until it came out publicly. They get no credit for dropping him now, they're only doing it to protect their own self interest, not out of any sense of morality.
They did something about it before it was revealed. They were actively working on editing him out of videos and social media and were probably working on making a statement in their own time. Now, I don't know if they would have revealed the cheating but they obviously were planning to kick out Ned since before the whole thing blew up
I don’t think the problem is “hookup culture” and that marriage and monogamy is the answer to everyone’s relationship, even the opposite. Maybe now that people see that relationships can come in different shapes but still is frowned upon, they try to stick to the get married have kids trope and fail miserably and cheat instead of being honest and communicating. It’s funny how people ask couples that are in a polygamous relationship if they are not afraid of jealousy and cheating, when in my opinion, it couldn’t be further from the truth. And honestly, I think the biggest motive for people to get married these days is so shallow. I get it, you want the perfect wedding and the perfect family portrait, but you have to earn it ( men and women), don’t think your problems will go away once you put that ring on the finger.
I find commitment alot more fulfilling and fun honestly. To be able to be yourself around that special someone is the best. Everything "else" is just an amazing bonus.
From what I learned from watching my parents is that there is no such thing as special someone. You as a couple have to just grow and mature together as the years go by. My parents have been married for 35 years now. My mom and dad were young when they got married. They had fights and arguments. Some people actually thought they would divorce because they once had public fights but they always had each other's back. They were each other's friends when needed. They were each others caregiver when it was needed. They were each others lovers when needed. They never cheated on each other or was abusive. No matter how bad things were, they never broke the married vow. That's why among all their friends they have a family that's functional and not divorced. People now a days want the comfort that comes with marriage but they don't want to take any responsibility that comes with it.
@@erenssister.5535 idk if I love the idea that there is ‘no special someone’. But the rest of your sentiment is good. You can have that someone special that you adore and still fight with them. That’s human. Maybe it’s the sentimental in me, but I’d like to think my partner is pretty damn special, even if his weaknesses and quirks can annoy me on off days.
He had it pretty good. One of the co-founders of a successful company, a home owner, a happy father, had friends and a loving wife (from what I can tell). I guess it just got to him and he decided to make it too good.
He really had everything. Good job, loving spouse, happy children, financial stability. Like goddamn man a lot of us would kill for one of those and he had it all.
Honestly, I can 100% relate.. I am a stay at home mom recently married with a one-year-old and My Husband, decided to cheat on me with a coworker for about a month behind my back before I found out about it.. not only that whenever I have the proof in my hand, he’s still lied to me about it whenever I asked him if he would ever cheat on me and he kept saying no no I would never do that to you. Like I said, I’ve only been married a year, but goddamn it is so difficult to fully love myself, because I no longer feel special but it’s even more difficult whenever you know that he makes the money in the house and there’s always the possibility of it happening again, because once again, they are coworkers . It’s hard to trust anybody anymore
The look of utter contempt Brett has while watching the producer talk about being engaged made my day. I couldn't have expressed my own feelings any better.
ive never cheated on a woman and i never would, i lived my whole life by definition of loyalty in friendships and relationships. i would do anything in my power to the people who are really in my corner. i dont have a lot of real friends.....if i wouldnt take a bullet for you we arent real friends. if its been years and we were close friends for along time but than life happened and you randomly contacted me because you really need someone to talk to or need something i will do whats in my power to do it. i never can understand how someone can get married and than cheat.
How not to cheat on your spouse: Step 1 - do not engage in social activities of the opposite sex where your spouse is not present. Step 2 - do not spend time alone with someone other than your spouse. Step 3 - Run like Joseph of Egypt when temptations catches you unawares and then make sure you stay far away at all costs.
“These unneeded rules” were part of the reason why the divorce rate were lower in previous generations and it still low in my home country. Don’t make the mistake of reject “antiquated rules” for the sake of it, some of them are very deep and helpful.
Agreed. Marriage took a serious hit after women entered the workforce. Although feminists love to refute this, women love to work under the leadership of a strong, masculine, decisive man. That's why there's so many cliché instances of women who are assistants, secretaries, etc. having affairs with their boss. It opens up too many opportunities for a woman to have alone time with a man and to fulfill the role as his helpmeet. That's a wife's role. I'm so glad that I am a homemakers and working to help my husband fulfill our shared vision for our family.
People can mock this, but if you have strong boundaries up, that gives you so much less opportunity to sin. A preacher said this and it was excellent - “lust plus temptation equals sin.” If you remove one of those…
I'll never understand why people choose a good time over a good life. Sex will never offer more than a momentary fraction of what a solid relationship can.
I do not condone the behaviour of Ned, Adam or any of the men mentioned... but I don't understand why the mistresses are not receiving the same hate. Okay, the men made the vows and etc, but the women has participated willingly and happily in the whole thing, after all you need two consensual parts to have an affair. 🤦♂
This was the first time I had a physical reaction to celebrity news... my stomach turned. I've watched the Try Guys for years, and thought "Ned and Ariel" often felt kind of forced, but overall it gave me hope for love. This is WAY more devastating than I think a lot of people realize on the surface. So, so many people are crushed by this: the guys themselves, all their friends, spouses, families, the whole staff, god knows how many other creators out there that are friends with them, fans, and even future generations... such as Ned's kids. They will be able to see *everything* as they grow up and get curious. Also, f$#@ Alex. That gross homewrecking hag actually said in a video recently "I dedicate this to Ned... because you have a hot wife." 🤢
To me, this falls under the “happy couples don’t need to post all over social media about how happy they are” trend. It’s usually the couples that post the overly lovey dove stuff are the ones with the biggest issues. Generally, the truly happy couples don’t post much about their relationship, as they just want to make their significant other happy.
Thank You all you guys who already have everything and then screw it up for the genuine guys that are really out here. No wonder women are untrusting and disgusted. Many of us guys are just as disgusted.
Horrible people exist regardless of gender, the hurt makes people less trusting tho and more willing to stereotype which is an unfortunate side effect :(. But let’s not forget the woman who he cheated with was also at fault, she had a fiancé, in the end it isn’t a matter of gender but of the human condition, there are good and bad apples and we have to try to remember that.
Understandable why Ned is spoken about more but, considering the other woman was already in a relationship too, this isn't something to make one simply untrusting of men, nor simply women. If anything, one should be more untrusting of PEOPLE. The more I study the wrongdoings of people, the more I side-eye people who view people differently based on "muh sexes" or "muh (*can't count everybody*) statistics". Now, I want to stay alone forever and never have kids as I don't want to have a reason to leave them with any boy or girl or woman or man even if I know them, cause people in general do TOO much to kids. No specific gender targeting from me, EVERYBODY'S getting flamed.
I just watched the movie dirty weekend with Matthew Broderick and I’m absolutely disgusted. The movie is about him cheating on his wife and being confused about his sexuality.Hollywood is trying to normalize this. What disgusted me the most is he cheated with a brother and sister couple.
Personally I feel sorry for the fiance who wasted 10 years with a person who decides to cheat on him after he proposes. I really don't blame guys who are wary of marriage these days... 😒
My parents love each other for 35 years. They fight and they complain about each other. They also watch travel shows every night since they spent their 35 years travelling. It's not that hard to stay faithful.
Did he ever have to worry about it? If they've been together over a decade at this point and still aren't married it kinda seems like he really didn't want to marry her at all. I have a strong suspicion that that relationship was doomed before they got to the altar regardless. If you really love someone and want to marry them it doesn't take 10 years to make it happen.
Yeah, it's guys like THIS that makes it harder for men who actually want to be faithful and loyal. I've got my opinions on Adam Levine's whole cheating scandal, but my heart goes out to their wives and kids.
I would fall apart if anything ever happened to my husband..I don't get how people just throw away such meaningful relationships for a random hook up/what they think is a good time. And I'm not talking about people in abusive, unhealthy or destructive relationships either. Just the people that get bored?
I think some of it has to do with the mentality that you always need to have a GF/BF and it’s okay when you’re young to go around giving your heart to multiple people. My ex-husband and I were both raised in really good homes and there was no reason it shouldn’t have worked out. When he was a teen, he had multiple girlfriends and it just seems like people get used to hopping around. And like you said, we didn’t have a bad relationship at all, but he just went on to another girl.
The boredom is a result of hookup culture. When you're dating you're swiping and texting and dating and sleeping with a lot of different people, and it's exciting. When you settle down with one person it can certainly feel boring in comparison. Men also get an ego boost by having multiple women to themselves. Both this dude and Adam Levine had long term wives and kids. They argue with their wives over the dirty dishes in the sink, who's going to change the next diaper, all kinds of stuff. The bedroom probably got stale as well. Then along comes a hot young thing who worships your every step. Who has never, ever nagged you about dirty dishes or dirty socks on the ground. Who is fun and flirty and always nice and sweet to you and gives you butterflies again and makes your wildest bedroom fantasies come true. It's an easy temptation to give in to. The same thing happens to women I'm sure.
Ok Ned got fired, what about the home wrecker, did she get fired too? If she still has a job on the show, then it shows how she is going unscathed because she a young female.
I heard she could sue the try guys, as company, for wrongful termination and sexual misconduct. She can just say she has been pressured into relationship and they would have a difficult case on their hands.
@@ljubica6566 then she has all the privilege. I don’t condone the cheating but Ned will probably get screwed over in the divorce, pay a ton of child support, he lost his job and the girl gets away with it. G the he only thing she probably lost is a fiancé but she can find a new simp

I just... I don't even know what to say... I feel so awful for how much pain Ariel must be feeling right now, and I hope their kids aren't effected in any way by this! As much as I had loved Ned and that he was my favorite of the Try Guys, I'm proud of the other Try Guys for cutting ties with him. This situation is not okay and there need to be consequences.

Ned & Ariel were the first "online couple" that I loved I commented under their Videos (14 and naive) " they make me believe in true love" ...well that didnt go over well
Its so refreshing, and almost unbelievable to see/hear someone as beautiful, and on the level as yourself, actually come out, (let alone broadcast) and say what's REALLY wrong-- with both men and {women respectively} The lack of commitment. wish you the best
Why did this ruin my entire early teen years? I stopped watching them the last few years as well, but they always held a fondness in my heart. This is genuinely so heartbreaking for Ariel. At this point, celebrities might as well be doing the “don’t let them see you next move” trend from tiktok because every new story is more mind blowing and unexpected than the last.
It's quite fun to imagine Ned and his social media team scrambling to come up with the perfect response while every RUclips react channel under the sun continues to blow up with views on account of one absolute dumbass move. The truth is as heartbreaking as these cheating scandals are, we can't get enough of them. We need them so we can point our fingers and feel good about ourselves, so we can eat popcorn and watch our favorite Internet personalities talk about it. I for one can't wait to see the next scandal unfold itself. I know for sure I'll be right here in the comments section watching Brett react to it.
At this point I wonder why people like that even bother being married. Like if you're gonna get married, mean it! If you don't want to commit, don't. People wanna keep rolling in the mud outside, that's their decision but don't drag an innocent person into the mud, too.
Omg I’m so happy your talking about this girl! Love your content, really opening my eyes in general that it’s okay to remove myself from being so liberal.
hearing someone else acknowledge alexandria as the mistress is SO refreshing. like yuh miss girly you aren’t a victim and u definitely need to be held accountable for your actions.
Yes! Declaring love for someone all the time and pretending you have the most perfect relationship in public and on social media IS A MASSIVE RED FLAG!! I have seen this time and time again. The most private and quiet couples are usually the happiest. People who are insecure about relationships need that very public attention towards their relationship.
For all the mommies out there, Tom and Christina were on point with fellas that constantly post about how much they love their wives. Three more fellas for the cool guy club.
I just don’t understand this mentality of “nothing is off limits.” If someone is married, they are off limits. Doesn’t matter if that marriage is solid or un-happy. They made a commitment, they are taken, they are spoken for. What garbage people
Can’t expect people who are involved in media and have similar celebrity life style to be together for life I’ve yet to see a celebrity that has been happily married for long.
True, very true. But so far, I would say Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are doing pretty well after 10 years of marriage... if one of them cheat that will genuinely shock me.
Whenever you have to tell people you're "X", you probably aren't. "I'm a nice guy", "I'm a strong woman", "I support men/women" and now "I'm a good husband". If you are that thing, you don't need to proclaim it to everyone else - it should be obvious.
It not just commitment that our culture doesn't value anymore, it's that it also has completely done away with instilling the exponential value and responsibility everyone should have to not breaking an oath or a vow. It's shameful how you now can hardly trust anyone's word. But not taking on commitment on a whim and then seeing it through is so antithetical to the way this consumer generation has been brought up.
I’ve been with my wife since we were 16 years old, and we have been married for 12 of those years, so maybe my opinion comes from a place that others may view as out of touch, but I just think that marriage is really not that difficult when you are a decent human being. Ultimately I know this is not a gender specific issue, but rather a sign of who both of the people involved are as human beings. People can make excuses for their actions all they want, but marriage is not a game, and should not be treated as such
Amen! I got married 12 years ago to the guy I decided I was going to marry, when I was 16. After a couple years, he started accepting attention from other women and eventually left. (Both of us were raised in really good Christian homes and are decent people.) Lessons learned: the word “divorce” shouldn’t be in your vocabulary, and avoid selfishness. Unthankfulness breeds selfishness.

The thing I see wrong with people everywhere is that they think that as long as no one knows they're not doing anything wrong. Nobody feels like they need to do the right thing because it's the right thing, but because someone might be watching, and they keep digging that hole until they get caught to then, and only then feel bad about it. To be frank, there is no logical reason to have an issue with men. Notice the affair was consensual, so the women also cheated on her man. Add in how often women, out of the limelight, divorce men and take them to the cleaners, at best you should be ambivalent, if not having issues with women.

All for a short high. Good reminder for us all not to throw away the good in our lives over short lived emotions.
What do you study ?

For the last three plus years we've had to live apart because of our careers. In all of that time, we've stayed faithful to each other and our love for one another has never faded.

Maybe it’s the sentimental in me, but I’d like to think my partner is pretty damn special, even if his weaknesses and quirks can annoy me on off days.

@@AutomaticDuck300 that sucks im sorry that u dont have that kind of relationship with people
How not to cheat on your spouse: Step 1 - do not engage in social activities of the opposite sex where your spouse is not present.
@@RaeBehrs True.. Very True...You hit the crux of the matter. 👍
People can mock this, but if you have strong boundaries up, that gives you so much less opportunity to sin. A preacher said this and it was excellent - “lust plus temptation equals sin.” If you remove one of those…
Or 1. Just don't fucking cheat.
Why are most people just talking about Ned and just extremely briefly mention the woman who had a 10 year relationship???
I'll never understand why people choose a good time over a good life. Sex will never offer more than a momentary fraction of what a solid relationship can.
A small amendment to “don’t trust men”: don’t trust famous people
I do not condone the behaviour of Ned, Adam or any of the men mentioned... but I don't understand why the mistresses are not receiving the same hate. Okay, the men made the vows and etc, but the women has participated willingly and happily in the whole thing, after all you need two consensual parts to have an affair. 🤦♂
Ned is the more public half of the scandal. I'm sure most people around morals around the mistress are not letting this go either
@@thetiredworm2100 Of course

Well, at least the guy she's engaged to doesn't have to worry about divorce anymore.
@@chriswhinery925 That's a good point. I mean, there could have been scheduling or money problems, but cold feet is as likely. :o
Yeah, it's guys like THIS that makes it harder for men who actually want to be faithful and loyal. I've got my opinions on Adam Levine's whole cheating scandal, but my heart goes out to their wives and kids.
My husband and I are in a very good relationship. We don't keep secrets and have 1 bank account. Secrets destroy everything.

Why did this ruin my entire early teen years? I stopped watching them the last few years as well, but they always held a fondness in my heart. This is genuinely so heartbreaking for Ariel. Whenever you have to tell people you're "X", you probably aren't.

I’m a committed person. My ex wasn’t. LOL if I don’t laugh I cry
Anyone with kids and a spouse cheating and destorying the lives of their entire family is a scumbag regardless of their gender.
If a guy is talking to you and telling you how much he loves his wife then yes....that is a bit of a red flag.
The thing I hate is that buzzfeed stole the idea of the try guys from two creators
When someone talks often and loud about their deeds, virtue or qualities it is often the projection of an image, not a reflection of reality
