Getting an ID is waaaaay more expensive and difficult in my super blue state than it was when I lived in red states. It went from like 5 bucks and an hour at the dmv to making an appointment 3 months in advance, waiting in line for 3 hours ANYWAY and paying nearly $100 for the pleasure.
I'd love to see a study compling the voting requirements and ID requirements and if they coordinate to party affiliation. Difficult or not though, I think it's insulting to insuate that someone can't get an ID due to their skin color (you aren't of course, just including the thought in this comment)

Unfortunately (or probably fortunately) when graduation came, all of my “friends” that I had shared nearly every waking moment with over the last 4 years all dropped off and stopped talking to me as my views started changing to be more right of center. I am moving to Nashville in a few months and would love to start up a non-politically charged theatre troupe. I miss being able to enjoy my craft.

They’re so logically minded that their creative muscles get suppressed from all of it. The ones who are conservative tend to be both logical and creative. Also, too many conservatives around Matt Walsh’s age look down on anything that is seen as childish, such as video games, comic books, animation. If people like the Daily Wire really want to compete with the mainstream effectively, they need to start hiring more independent artist not tied to the mainstream to not only make content for it, but also allow them to stretch their creative muscles. As Andrew Klavan said, you can’t shy away from reality because it’s ugly. That’s why a lot of Christian and Republican films tend to be so bad.

you don't even require a drivers license ID to vote, you can get a basic State ID and some states I think provide them for free, you need them for work especially if you do a lot of w2 work.
Yeah, I got my ID while Latino and it was the simplest thing ever. The DMV was like a 20 minute walk and I had my mother drive me to get one with all the necessary and proper documents.

I was a theater kid in high school. Hamilton is the first Broadway show I ever went to see live, and I was even able to perform on a Broadway stage myself. In my country, when a baby is born, the parents are required by law to get him/her an ID. And when it expores you have to get a new one. Also, you have to carry it with you in public places. I'm putting a MAJOR cap on this one because I was involved in the precinct for an election (granted it was july for mainly state and county elections in Iowa) all of the people that I had shown an ID or some form of identification (most were middle aged or elderly). If the person is intellectually disabled you need to read out the list of names but never give your opinion on any of them. If the person can't get out of their car (say the cough of 19) then a republican and democrate have to go together to that person. Not once did I ever hear about voter ID impression. If anything felons are the ones who are suppressed and we have a printout sheet that we just blindly give them and hopefully send them on their way.

I’m sorry, an Europen here! Can someone explain this to me please. How is iz possible that some people don’t have IDs AND think getting one is a big deal? In my country, when a baby is born, the parents are required by law to get him/her an ID. And when it expores you have to get a new one. Also, you have to carry it with you in public places. Wth is happening in the USA? Doesn’t getting an ID just mean signing a few paper and such? Doesn’t sound very difficult. Even if you are disabled, trans, black, whatever.
Well see here this thing when hitler made jews identify themselves with ID's and arm patches it kinda left a bad tastes in some peoples mouths. Kinda feels like a barcode. States have Ids that are issued when you get a drivers licence or you can get a simple ID around 16-18. America is NOT COMMUNIST (yet) therefore politicians would never get away with the over reach (yet) and subsequent control they would gain by this. ALSO- With biden letting some 4.2 million illegals in im sure it is in the current presidential administrations best interest to lessen laws about having to have an ID in order to vote. Trouble lies in both stances but freedom should be placed first above penilizing people for not having a card.

I'm a theatre kid, too, and theatre is where my biggest passions lie. But I've been conflicted about whether or not to try to get back into shows and & auditions. The theatre world is getting more woke every year and I'm not sure it's an environment I want to be in. Plus I observe Saturday Sabbath now and you don't really ever get that day off in theatre.

I went online to handle our absentee ballots (I’m in GA where we are “voter suppressed”) and it was so easy. I’m disabled and my parents are elderly and they want nothing but my an id. There’s MANY different things they’ll except. It’s EASY. this is such boohockey.
Haha… honestly I’ve never heard an American citizen tell me that voting is too hard (outside of people with physical disabilities etc) I mean you can register at the DMV, I’ve even had employers give people excused absences to vote, last election you just had to drop it into a metal box.

Brett, swing actors are hard fucking core. Those people learn multiple parts and can jump in as any of them on command. Choreography, lyrics, lines. All of it.
I'm putting a MAJOR cap on this one because I was involved in the precinct for an election (granted it was july for mainly state and county elections in Iowa) all of the people that I had shown an ID or some form of identification (most were middle aged or elderly). If the person is intellectually disabled you need to read out the list of names but never give your opinion on any of them. If the person can't get out of their car (say the cough of 19) then a republican and democrate have to go together to that person. Not once did I ever hear about voter ID impression.
If anything felons are the ones who are suppressed and we have a printout sheet that we just blindly give them and hopefully send them on their way.
After the cast were unforgivably rude to Mike Pence and his party I decided that I wouldn’t be seeing Hamilton. I don’t go to the theatre to be told how to vote.

Just some constructive feedback from an audio engineer: I hear a lot of plosives (low frequency explosions when you say "p" sounds like in Piece or Politics). I would definitely recommend to your sound editor to use a high-pass filter for that. Hope this helps and thanks for your great work!
