    Thanks for breaking down the trim levels . I was originally going for the NX 250 but after seeing the NX 350 F Sport with the glossy wheels and front grill , I was sold ! 🔥

    I had the pleasure of driving one of these last week. I thought it was a really smooth ride and definitely saw why Lexus is one of the best luxury vehicles out there. The gadgets and infotainment system were definitely top notch. Possible new car?

    I’m considering the NX 250 instead of the NX 350h. The higher price doesn’t justify the better MPG in the 350h for me.

    Great video. My wife got the 350 AWD with the premium package and I wish I had seen this video prior to purchasing it because we only test drove the F Sport and fell in love with it but they didn’t have any other trims to show us. If I were to purchase again I would go with the 350h or the F Sport.

    In Michigan, the MSRP is $42,600 for the NX 250 AWD (before taxes. destination and options). The NX 350 AWD starts at $44,600 before taxes, destination and options. Out of control pricing.

      Sir Poop a lot, your name is practically my life. But yes the car market is really insane right now, you can't find a good deal

    Great video. I was considering doing one of these videos for the Canadian market, but just a bit too busy atm. If only the 350h had a F Sport, I would say that would be the best option for myself, but unfortunately the F Sport is only available in the 350 and 450h+ trims.
    One comment is the cost of the NX450h+. It's hard to say in the luxury vehicle market if any trim or model is worth it or not. At $55k+, there will still be a market for buyers. There are some who do not want the size of the RX and do not want to drive a Tesla would still consider the NX450h+. If people were looking for value, they would have gotten a RAV4 if they want to stay in the Toyota/Lexus family. Or they will go to the South Korean brands or other brands that give you the 4 wheels and a chassis. When you reach the luxury market, it's not always value anymore.

    • @GaryHwang
      @GaryHwang  2 года назад

      You totally should whenever you have time. Yes agreed but I can see why then it would be too many options and more work and cost for Lexus.
      To me 60k is way too much for a NX but I still love Lexus/Toyotas regardless since they are 100% reliable and made with quality.

      @@GaryHwang the new RX plug in will be more expensive. I would guess the new redesign RX will be 10k more. Then the NX will be the right price. If it was another brand, I would not be willing to pay that price. At the end it's really the cost of ownership over the lifetime of the car.

  • @feendragon

    Debating between the displays (9.8 vs 14 inch). Would you say the 9.8 is fine or is it worth paying more for the 14 inch? It's around $4K difference in my case

    A big difference between the trims is this: if you want to tow a trailer do NOT get the F Sport. The car has been out for a year as of almost February 2023 and there is still NO hitch available from Lexus or from any other source. I bought my car with the ASSUMPTION there would be a hitch for it. The Monroney says you can tow with the right “accessories” but nowhere does it say, “Lexus has no hitch for this trim”. I call that bait and switch. If I cannot get a hitch by the end of March I will dump my brand new NX and if possible go after Lexus (not likely of course)

    You said the NX 450h+ is not worth $60k+. Do you think the NX 450h+ still worth it after factoring into the Federal tax credit of $7500?

    • @GaryHwang
      @GaryHwang  2 года назад

      If you can get it below 58k then I think it might be worth it. But anything higher I personally dont think so
