I have a 2019 fsport nx. Love it. I've had it for a month now. I've never owned a lexus before. The ride and looks and quality are outstanding
Great choice! Thanks for watching!
This is the best comparison of the old and new models I've seen. Having an NX200, I see the odd new model around town. They definitely look different. But I've struggled to pinpoint WHY they look different. Things like the trim running above vs along the door handle from this video help show why. Same with the hood differences. I'd never picked up on those.
I'm glad to see the track pad go away on the new model. Though I would miss the physical buttons for the HVAC. The screen on the NX200 was a bit small. Slightly better on the NX300. But the new model is light years bigger/brighter. Overall, I'd say Lexus did things right. Improved on what was good. Got rid of what didn't work. A bit more aggressive/wide body looking on the new models. More HP. Lots of engine/hybrid choices. Good video.
2021 NX 💯!!!
Nice styling changes. How many miles before oil consumption?
I prefer the line of the old NX, much more aggressive and groundbreaking in its day than the current one that looks more like a Toyota than a Lexus
Not a mention that from 2023 on they have no spare tire because they're using run flats. I have the 2023 and so far have no complaints (my 5th Lexus). Mileage better than I expected...about 30mpg on the highway and overall about 24mpg. Lots of cubby space under the rear mat where the spare used to be. I wanted the hybrid but refused to pay $6k over MSRP for it. Very disappointed in my Lexus dealer for that.
@PerformanceLexusNiagara I love your videos! I have owned many Lexus Models. RX was too big so I currently have an Ultrasonic Blue / white in 2021 NX fport with 48 k miles( USA)
I just had a chance to buy a 2025 Copper Crest Fsport 3 … and even though tech is way better.. especially love the ML system. I can tell the materials on the 21 are better quality. The 2025 was just too much black inside no contrast stitching.
The 25 however drives much smoother and is peppier than the 2021.
Great video!!
Ps.. I kept my 21 for now! Just love that ultrasonic and I am doing a chrome delete in the windows and roof rails lol 😆
Thanks for the support! I'm driving an Ultrasonic Blue right now and I love that color! The chrome delete will look slick too
The digital rear mirror is also a nice touch in the new NX
Who buys the F Sport. Not many I suspect. So why show us this car? It doesn't really compare side by side in many details.
To me it seems Lexus is cutting corners with the new NX. The older model is definitely more luxuriously equipped for its time. Just too much plastic and bland front dash on the new one. A little bit of contrast stitching and the iconic clock would've improved the luxury looks.
Interesting observation for sure! I guess a lot of it depends on the package etc. Do you think the same way even about the fully loaded Executive? I can for sure tell the new redesign focused a lot more on features and electronics than previous model so you might be right!
@PerformanceLexusNiagara You are right as the focus is on technology related features, however most economical makes boast similar features for much less. What makes something luxurious to me is the material, design and attention to detail. One trend that has become common in most mid luxury cars is using one color, usually black, for most of the dash and base of components. You will have only seats and parts of console with color options but rest is all the same. Specific to NX it is more prevalent with the piano black plastics and flat black plastic dash in the passenger side. A bit of stitching and color matching would've done wonders there to a luxury look.
On a premium package
How do I get a Lexus nx250 premium package, with rear view digital mirror?
I can’t get a strait answer from the dealers on line😢, am not driving down there for nothing
Wish they didn't use piano black. Ugh... Shows finger prints and any dust...
Excellent presentation.
Do you know of a website that describes all the NX models over the last 5 years?
My wife is retiring and would like an Lexus SUV.
Thank you!

How much is the 2024 NX350 MSRP w/ those specs you had mentioned?
Great video! With the NX450h+ is it ok to charge every day or should you wait till you run out of charge?
Great question! I do really like the fact that you can set up a charging schedule so I'm sure the everyday would be fine! That way you can just leave it plugged in but it's only charging when you have it set to. All of this can be set up right from the main screen as well! The additional benefit is you can choose times that have lower rates for electricity.
They removed the clock?
How do I get digital rear view mirror on NX 250, 23 or 24…..,..
What does sports+ do on the old NX Fsports3? Does it have active variable suspension?
@LivingInAnInverseReality sweet! I already got the IS than the NX :)
New NX is at different level, better in all aspects.
Made in Canada is new and old is made in Japan
When they say simplicity luxury they mean make it as cheap as possible and charge more
Worst color choice to do the comparison. You should have go with brighter colors
Yes I totally agree! Unfortunately on the day of filming this is all I had access to! Maybe I'll try it again with different colors!
I would get this new nx over the new rx
..................YES...Because the New RX is a 4 cyl DOG TURBO.......Loud not smooth and under powered to say nothing of the Ugly Lip plastic on hood that is stamped Plastic...the New NX is sooooooo much nicer!
@@donaldbanner2185 NX had always been I4 engines - both generations. If you do the second newest RX (AL20 2016-2022) you can get the natural aspirated V6.
But maybe that is off the table for both of you two.
Dustin is so hot
Wow, not only is it daytime, but he's OUTSIDE too! 😂
Thanks for watching! Yes I've been trying to change things up a bit LOL!
