Can't thank you enough for teaching me to cook. I made this recipe yesterday. It came out perfect! I ate dinner and went back for seconds. I am so proud of myself because I could bearly boil water before I found your channel.
I used vegetable broth instead of water and coconut milk1/4 cup at the end to thicken it up and it came out bomb. I didn’t have a birds eye pepper b either still came out really good.
Alexis Ariel how much vegetable broth did you use?
I'm going try that! Thanks for sharing

My secret ingredient for curry channa is instead of adding water, I add low sodium chicken broth. Gives it that extra boost of flavor.
It's not really vegetarian anymore tho xD
That should be standard. But vegeterians won't go for that
Nice suggestion..will it give a try
Flying Angel ; here in Australia have Massel brand chicken cubes .. tastes like chicken but is vegetarian

So simple and easy to make
Got right up & made this. You're awesome!
Absolutely love this recipe! ♥️
This is my lunch today, already have some channa cooked and in the freezer.
Questions can you also add pumpkin and dhall?
Using this method now, thank you.
Hey Chris, you added tomatoes to one of your curry dishes. I tried it and man it was delish!! Thanks.
Marcia Grant I always add a few ripe, Roma tomatoes to my curry. Not too many to turn it red, just 2 or 3 (I make a lot at a time). I add it halfway through the onions cooking down. I like to really cook down the tomatoes--the flavor is amazing!
Thank you so much
I just tried this, wow was it good! Thank you!!

Nice, did this as I watched. I did parboil the potatoes and added some spicy Hillshire Farm beef links. Will be having it with some pieces of ghee sauteed Naan...yum!
sounds like an indian recepie with a twist.. is it ;)
sahla mtl it’s West Indian food
Love iiiit!!!!❤❤❤
Mine got way too thick. Should I just add more water?
I can't find the Caribbean green seasoning but may I substitute with The seasoning that I see a lot of Latinos use called Sofrito?
Sofrito is pretty good. But if you can find Recaito it would be much better, its almost the same thing. Goya makes it as well and it can be found close to sofrito.
David Ramsubhag reaction I have seen. Thank you!
kneenee71 you can also make your own, which is quite easy. Blend green onions, cilantro, garlic, white onions, ginger, thyme, chives, celery and pimentos with a little water till it has the texture of a thick smoothie. Works well in marinates and can be freezed for longer uses
Red Angel ok thanks!
Do you know the quantity needed of the ingredients you mentioned for green seasoning
Where to get the Caribbean green season from. I will try this today. Peace and love
I think he makes it. U can search his videos for the seasoning
Hehe, I like this guy.
carribean green seasonings? what is that?
So when did you cover it?
🤘🏼💚👏🏼 vegan
Same💚
I have never know this recipe to take 90 minutes, unless you're cooking an extremely large batch or using raw chickpeas. It generally a quick dish.
Can u sub coconut instead of water?
Please I beg! Make doubles
That looks so tasty. I have a question for you.... i just need to know who makes the musik at the end. Thank you.
What kind of meat can be added to this dish? As an alternative....
Joyous davis chicken would be excellent - or shrimp.
When would you add the tsp of green seasoning?
Re-watched I see now.
