the band is packed with talent.... jerry is one of the best dobro players in the world, alison got like 25 grammys or something, dan is one hell of a singer/guitar player(he's also in Lonesome River Band) and it just goes on.... :D

@@Beezlie727 As an upright bass player, myself, the bass should be heard, all on it's own; all the instruments are equally as important in a good sound mix. It shouldn't just be "something you miss if it's not there". Some people just don't have an ear and appreciation for bass, is more likely the case

Nice. But the bass is too low in the mix. Probably the sound man's fault while recording this live in concert.

I agree, the performance from one of their Austin City Limits appearances, available on RUclips is mixed a bit better and the bass is just right.
