Exciting to see a fantasy film set in the Middle Ages; a genre not often used for short films. Thanks to the cinematography, filming locations and music, the atmosphere is compelling, with the special effects well-crafted and not overused. The Black Plague story is creative and grabbed my attention from start to finish, partly due to an anti-hero in the lead role. Most of all, what I love is that the convincing acting and the two different characters as knights make the sword fight a story-driven action sequence!
Well done for such a small production 👍 I can see the amount of effort that was put into it and for such a seemingly minimal amount of resources I think the usage of what was available is artfully done. The witch was very well cast also, bravo to her. She comes off as eerie and mysterious but doesn't overplay it at all, very fun to watch 👍
Brilliant piece loved the interaction between the two nights the dialogue and the mannerisms were very believable and especially loved the first sword flourish with pirouette reminded me of the way Geralt of Rivia fights in the Witcher very artistic the way if flowed was like a sword dance! The knights characters reminded me of the Knights from Tussaint in Blood and Wine very proud and haughty and with a self importance! Great piece would love to see more!
Fantastic stuff, brilliant for a low budget short piece, the acting and effects were all very well done, and most importantly the story itself had me hooked the whole time great little twist at the end
The acting was better than most of these I've watched, well-done! The hero-knight was in dire need of facial hair, though... looked more like an insurance salesman than a knight.
damn, this film had 110% of my attention the entire time. better then most hollywood a list films, well done.
