A huge thank you to all our kickstarter contributors and everyone that has supported our film. We couldn't of done it with out you and hope you enjoy!

can you believe this fan made on a shoe string budget is 10 times better than the atrocity version Hollywood gave us in 2018!
Yes, yes I can. Hollywood, like Washington DC, is a fucking cesspool filled with soulless, joyless hacks.
This was made with love and care by real people, and it shows.
Yeah i agree ..hope they make another episode of this
Only 10 times???
It’s all love for the franchise man. That’s worth way more than a almost unlimited Hollywood budget
Producers fucked that film raw smh
Living in an age now where fans make better motion pictures than actual studios. Great work.
Can not say other than agreed. Human creativity is unstoppable and that is why I love you fellow humans!
Hopefully, work like this won't face the same fate as Star Trek fan made work.
I think any film maker is a fan, but also not all may have the talent but been privileged with the opportunity
To be fair, this is far better written, directed, acted, filmed, edited than nearly everything coming from the "professionals".
If it were made into a full-length movie, it would be a block buster hit.
Agreed
You're fukn deluded mate
yep.that was fantastic to watch!
And still 8 years later none of these actors and this production have gone anywhere....what do you recommend as a 'film expert' Einstein.
The first one with Arnie was miles better in every way
It is awe-inspiring to even imagine the time it took to set all of this up. The choreography, the props, the setting, the actors, the costumes, the script, maybe thousands of man hours, all to create a video less than half an hour long, all done out of pure, raw *_PASSION_* . Absolute respect to all involved, and a laudable middle finger to Hollywood's abomination they dared call a "movie".
Fans with a lot of money will always put together better stuff than the companies
Like Warhammer 40k. The company scenes vs the fan made Astartes
Go look at the San Diego Predator Invasion, 20+ Predator suits, all custom to individuals, working helmet lasers and blades, it’s so impressive. I keep putting this video off because I’m terrified it’s going to be bad but I need to watch it now
Well said.
Movie obviously made by white guilted whites
@@kyoswkyosw1216 Fans with little to no money make better movies than companies filled with "professionals," because the fans actually care about the product, while the studios only care about $.

When I first saw this movie, it became canon to me. It's got absolutely everything a good Predator movie could have, and it looks like a legit professional well-made piece of cinematic art.
Also love how this movie fits in the XII century pretty accurately. It's also great as a medieval film.
I think it can be canon to me as well. The only strange thing to me is...
*SPOILER!1*
... Teleportation at the end but I do understand that the reason is purely technical - they made predator to return to the ship this way just like it was done in early Star Trek because of the limitations. Just there it was technical but here a budget one.

Beowulf.
But Predators.
@BerserkApe. Great idea! That would be epic!
Can u imagine a crossover between How To Train Your Dragon and Predator? (i know this would never happen cuz HTTYD is targeted towards kids with no blood or super graphic violence or swearing) Cuz I think a Predator would be drawn to the conflict between the dragons and Vikings hunting both the Vikings and dragons. Heck a Predator would probably end up wanting to add a few Night Fury skulls to the trophy wall (and ends up making Grimmel look like a joke)
@@berserkape1014 fyck yes!
I would imagine the Viking would figure out how to outsmart the Predator by covering himself in mud.
This is the best Predator fan made film I have ever seen. When the Predator pulled out a sword to fight - that was amazing. So damn good.
Achei estranho bro
@lucasvander2733 Predators like challenges. He obviously never fought someone with a sword before and wanted to try it out. He got outplayed by the Templar, though, when he stabbed him. That's when he dropped the sword and used the gauntlet blades because he got serious fighting the knight.
this is better than some predator "professional" movies
This was more entertaining than 99% of what the giant corporations like Fox, Disney, and the MCU churn out with quarter of a billion $ budgets. Literally a half hour short was way better than anything being put out at the moment, well done!

@@mrgrumpyjinx I hear you but I think you made my point
I respect how this fan film understands that Predators have a sense of honour against their foes: either when killed by human after a worthy match (Dutch, a legend among human and Predators); a friend sacrificing their life (this film); or when killing a worthy opponent.
This predator:"Nahhh, I won't kill you. You stood toe to toe, knowing you had no chance and you got good buddies so we'll call it a draw for now."
I was expecting something cheesy but I must say this really was an impressive feat and has stood up well for six years. Better than Shane Black's The Predator and had more heart and soul into it. Love the writing of the banter between the Templar Knight and the Catholic Priest showcasing what many of us have assumed the Roman Catholic Church prioritizes over everything else (and this is coming from a follower of the Roman Catholic Faith). Also extreme kudos for not ending the film with the Predator getting killed by a lucky blow from Thomas, who was clearly outmatched, and Sied wisely showing that he was not a threat to the Predator after sheathing his weapon. Showing the Predator as an honorable sportsman that adheres to a agreement is also noteworthy.
Yeah, I also love how they showcase the Predator as an honorable sportsman, because the Yautja race pride themselves on two things: their fighting/hunting prowess and their honor.
@@crayladrawshnick6232 That's why, ironically, the Predator is the one movie monster that your average joe is most likely to survive an encounter with. It's not a mindless murderer. It has no interest in killing people who can't--or won't--fight back. Hell, if you're a weak and helpless nobody threatened by an armed maniac, a Yautja would (albeit unintentionally and entirely incidentally) save your life. Out of all the post-Michael Myers "indestructible and relentless" type of horror movie antagonists, they're ironically the most human.
@@dorkandproudofit Of course, it’s ironic that they’re the “most human”, since their aliens, but that was obviously the point of that part of your statement. Totally agree with what you’re saying.
I think the Predator also acknowledged that Sayyid was able to sneak up on it which is a very worthy feat. The Predator took Thomas' helmet basically stating "You're alive but I still won and deserve this trophy" Man fans should just make the movies from now on they clearly understand the source material better than most.

For real now. It's horrifying to imagine the Yautjua using earth's, specifically the West's, social culture.
I don't think I've ever seen such a professional fan film before. There are so many elements which normal amateurs wouldn't be able to do, such as the numerous aerial scenes, consistent believable acting, storyline, editing, location, period wardrobe etc.
If I were to nitpick, I'd say the Predator was slightly short, and I don't think a sword would penetrate his stomach so easily and the lights in the night fight were a bit too bright.
But otherwise it was a totally pro effort, and I could see this becoming part of Predator canon, because IMHO it's just that good.
GICking Swords would penetrate fine. Predators can shrug off or ignore a lot more pain than humans can, but their skin isn't like armor or anything.
GICking Yeah they missed a couple things, like the obviously mowed grass next to the road, and the logo on the arrows, but otherwise very professional filming, good settings, and very canon to the predators portrayed in the actual movies. I liked it.
When you truly love & believe in what you're doing, the end result can be greater & more authentic than any amount of money could ever buy. The creators of this are all extremely talented, no doubt. But this short fan film just has that heart & love that corporate Hollywood has been drained of for decades. The only way to bring back incredible movies/films might just be sponsoring/supporting fan film writers, actors, producers, & directors.

Brilliant detail there. The hunter acknowledged the sign that the man did not want to fight and there would be no sport in this anymore. So it opted to leave and grabbed the trophy of the duel.
I also saw it as the Predator acknowledging the honour and bravery on his enemy. That he was willingly to sacrifice his life if the Predator spared his friend. From one warrior to another, there was some level of respect
Same thought, but it could be more realistic/dramatic if the hunter just scratch him a bit then stop contemplating the dishonor... before sparing the live and leaving with a roar of disappointment. But still... a very well plot shoe string budget movie ....

After seeing this I would love a full movie of the Predator in medieval times or Feudal Japan! Brilliant work here!
The best part about this is giving due credit to the Predator as a sportsman, and having him duel the remaining Templar with a sword giving him a better chance. Solid work all around, an instant favorite!
Same thing happened in Predators. The Yakuza guy fights the predator with a katana. And the predator duels fairly. The Yakuza gets the death blow first, though they both die in that scene.
This short film has what every recent Predator movies lack: the constant feel of danger, the protagonist who is truly worthy opponent for the Predator and fear before unknown. Alright, let me give this movie my professional opinion:
You can clearly see it's fan made because there are no special effect everywhere, but this is actual a good thing. Long gone are movie who feel real and not just painted to look like real.
Script is mostly average, but it is well done. No stupid lines anywhere ( praise be! ), and everyone really put effort into their roles and it turned up in a way that every character feel real and fits his role perfectly - good job there :)
Now as far as story goes, it's well written. A really average story when it comes to Predator movie but really well written. There were no crazy, out-of-this-world crazy stunts that we see from Hollywood. Every kill felt in place and like Predator would do it. And I am glad to finally see a movie where female character was not given safe ticket to act like love interest to main protagonist. Her role was just, she is skilled and she fought and died with honor in the end. Excellent job to that guys.
Everything felt like real - even Predator moves. Aldo I lost it when he drew sword, I LMAO xD Also love the sword-fight, it was simple and it was realistic as in it shows how superior Predator is to Humans. And I also like how you added teleportation in the end, that's something new and cool. :D
And I noticed that you used scene from Predator 1 when Predator runs away. But I greet this because I know it would be hard to do it for real so why not use previous material when you can?
The best part is of course Templar and Predator fight. I liked every moment of it and I liked it's conclusion. How they played to Predator's sense of honor to survive, that was just ingenious.
And even if movie lasted for 27 minutes I felt like it was over and hour, so the atmosphere that movie created was great in that regard, aldo some scenes felt liek rushed. The only think that movie lacks is Hollywood level special effects, but in this case the movie felt much better than to actually have them. Other thing it lacked was duration, it really felt like it could be 30 minutes longer. But giving that this is a fan movie it's understandable.
Overall, my score for this movie is 4.8/5. Really good fan movie that is true to franchise and that do it justice.
The times are coming when fans will start using current available technology to create better movies than the production house that owns licence for them.
Good word guys, and I hope that you will have energy and will to do one more in the future. :D
2SSSR2 "professional"
2SSSR2 Thanks for the detailed comments and glad you enjoyed it. Great points. Just wanted to say when the predator runs off that was actually our own effect shot, not from the first movie hehe. We had over 50 vfx shots in the film but tried best to make them not stand out : ) . We originally also planned to make a slightly longer/detailed version but we worked with our kickstarter budget, which was short of what we needed.
2SSSR2 What stopped you from giving it a 5/5?
Predator: Dark Ages Still you have done great ! This movie is better than some of the originals.
Hoofle Joof Basically length, if it was like 40 minutes long than ok.
Had this in my “Watch Later” for 7 YEARS, since it first popped up, and just watched it. Loved it.
Absolute Gem ..I understand Rambo and It;s a wonderful life were put on ice for years before their release to become hits ..I'm just waking up to it now..what a shock
Just bumped into this today, I was kind of expecting a cheesy or OTT rendition...
BUT, you guys blew my expectations out of the water, especially by showing how the
Predator's warrior/hunter culture leads to them having honour, and also favoring some
of their enemies weapons (mimicking different fighting styles they see on hunts).
Honestly, 10/10 well done guys, made an old predator fan smile.
great insight on the Predador's culture
Shock IKR
This is great! Nice to watch and very well made. 10 out of 10 for sure.
A Great Mini Movie
"Its just a scratch"
"A scratch? Your arm is off!"
Spencer Loudog Hahaha :D ! Nice reference
Spencer Loudog
The Black Night: "No it isn't"
King Aurthur: "Well, what's that then?"
The Black Night: "I've had worse."
King Aurthur: "You liar!"
Classic, timeless scene
Spencer Loudog I'll nibble your feet off! Haha! XD
Still can't get my girlfriend to watch that wtf
He ain't got time to bleed.
OMG!!! just WOW! That was 100x better than I expected. That was a real treat to watch.
How have I never seen this before?? This was awesome
I now need a predator film for each century.
Predator world war 2?
Japanese ninja and samurai predator
one in 1715 when the elder got the pistol
Holy Jesus Christ Episode 1
Predator and Eve in Paradise, before she eats the forbidden apple.
For crying out loud, give the young talents involved in this fantastic piece of filming,a contract to boot. I'll forever be a regular viewer!
22:55 I like how predator shows honor and dignity. Whether predator in films would do that, but I like the concept.
6 min in and it’s already better tha every single film Hollywood has released over the past 5-6 years
We would love to do a mini series, with each episode covering a different period in the past : )
Great idea!
Predator: Dark Ages PLEASE PLEASE PLEAAAASE DO! THAT WOULD BE SO SICK :D
That was awesome!!! May i repost this to get it more views?! You guys did a great job on the music and effects and everything!!!!! So epic!! Please make more! I loved it! :)
Versus Vikings please perhaps even a visit to Sparta ; )
Predator: Dark Ages Would you do an episode with the Predator hunting soldiers in the Vietnam War ?
2 or 3 bandits at the most lmao love that throw back line
Cool
anotherrandomtexan25 - In the original Predator, Carl Weather's character says "It's just 2 or 3 guys at most out there" or something like that.
RogueReplicant oh I know lol but it's fun having lines that are so similar ya know? also "well maybe I learned some bad habits from you now get your people outta here" :P
Excellent. Give this man a proper budget! He’ll make a blockbuster.
This was excellent. Captures the essence of the original. It’s fantastic. Great lead role. There are so many things this film got right. Please make another.
This 25 minute movie has more soul than 10 multimillion budget blockbuster movies...
FNscarH > True. Movies nowadays suck. It's all stupid catch lines and cheesy acting.
New Tuber And with recycled plot lines
FNscarH revamp revamp revamp no originality
It's like some kind of recruitment propaganda for Radical Islam. Definitely anit-western and anti church, etc. Maybe Islam really is the "religion of peace," as W clumsily attempted to assert to appease our "friends" in the middle east as we were flooding the area with several hundred thousand occupying troops. First time I have seen an al-queda recruitment video, err... I mean an independent interpretation of a sci-fi classic. Lol. interprInterestingly, many comments say that this is a rehashed story. Hopefully you can all see the bigger pictue/ideological/religious/political implications all over this movie....err...propaganda video. In reality,"Muhammad," or whatever his name was would have cut off all their heads, strapped a bomb to horse ridden into the middle of the initial encampment, dismounted screaming God is Great and killing as many civilians as possible to get to his 72 new 12 year old wives in heaven (72 Wives?! F that. 1 wife is a nightmare. I don't need a whole army of them nagging me). Then years later, ed Snowden releases secret evidence that the whole thing was a "false flag," set up by the CIA and the US military industrial complex. Lol. And the cycle repeats...
Andrew Stewart EXACTLY.
Should of thrown in this line. “Go!” “Get to thy horses!” Lmao
Best comment.
Too funny 😂
Get to the chapel
Good one
"if it coagulates... it can be bested"
This film was totally amazing, the potential for time periods that the predator could show in. As previous comments said, vikings, feudal Japan etc. The thought of the predator taking on the Romans, , spartan.......would be awesome.
Very good and another chapter to the Predator story
This is so good its automatically Canon for me, fuck it.
It's definitely better than the last movie. I prefer this to be Canon over that
I totally agree! This was VERY badass!!! 😃👍🏿
Well said
Same here.
Ayeeee
This fanmade is an example of quality work and dedication to the predator fans, it shows that even with small budget it can still produce a great quality work! Unlike... The Predator... Big budget movie that cannot produce quality, and is disrespectful to many predator fans, and it's own franchise, I wish Hollywood could take an example of it, but yeah, they wont, they only care about money now, not quality. We should support this kind of fanmades quality work more often than Hollywood.
Exactly, i would def support this work
@@io2859 Same, instead of paying for crappy movies to support Hollywood, we should rather pay and support good works like this one.
@@martinvr12 yeah
Agreed! This fan film needs to be an eye opener for lovers of movies that Hollywood isnt the end it all be it all. Fan Films/Indie Films are changing the game!
I like the movie. Except for the uber altered predator. I wonder if he was a member of a rogue clan. I thought the Predators were all about honor. Genetic alteration doesn't seem to fit that the whole predator mythos.
This was an excellent short film. A true credit to fan made films and budding low budget film maker's, who's genuine purpose and vision is for the love of their craft and entertainment of the audience first and not money, fame or pushing an agenda/narrative.
Great plot, effects, actors! Great movie 🎥
Why does this not have like 50 MILLION views by now?? That was AMAZING! Fantastic story!
Jack T THIS!!
Keep sharing and it will ; )
It would have been great but at the end when the sarazin guy said "not a demon, something else" I expected the crusader to say "a predator."
Cole Barrow would have been epic if he would have said that ;D
Cole Barrow Not that it matters much as the rest was in modern English, but the word predator didn't exist then, closest was the latin root word which didn't have the same meaning, it was closer to "thief". Which still fits I guess, but not quite as intimidating.
It’s amazing what people can do with passion and a love for their craft. This is levels above the dumpster fire that was The Predator.
@@MellowFresh The actor reminded me of Riz Ahmed.
Nerds have passion for the craft, hollywood just wants money and or to push a message. That's how it is, without nerds hollywood is nothing but a garbage pumping machine full of c tier westerns and c tier noir films.
Amazing movie, dialogues , actors, action, story telling, exceptional, and not to forget the fascinating filmmusic
This should be done as a feature film.
The acting is superb. This is even better than the usual Syfi production.
Yeah the acting for a fan made film was great.
I've seen the fan made star wars films, and the acting, cinematography, script, etc, was just so weak, that I couldn't watch it. This blurs the lines between "fan made" and hollywood studio production... wow, the only thing that could have taken it over the top is some amazing looking establishing shots. Other than that, they deserve whatever money they ask for, for their campaigns.
Why do people keep saying that it’s good “for a fan film”? It’s good by any standard.
Murphy Rutledge this is way better than the last Predator movie
@@randybarnett2308 gone with the wind is better than that last predator movie
mr. vain voice ---gone with the wind! Pretty much sums up not only Predator but the Alien and Terminator films as well🤠🤠
Its definitely better than The Predator
Had me fooled. I thought it was a scene from a film.
Still the greatest fan film of this genre. Great casting. Epic cinematography. and soul. always love coming bk to this. Wish for more...
That was v good, congratulations everyone on a bloody good production. More please!
Thanks again guys for all the comments and so happy (most of) you enjoyed it. Appreciate it : )
As a big Predator fan and a guy that finds the Crusades to be a fascinating part of history, this was really cool and I'm glad I stumbled across this!
+Predator: Dark Ages Please make another set in World War II! where the allied forces believe the predator is a Nazi weapon but find out it's hunting both Allies and Germans and is the one who killed Hitler.
Titanus Daconus Lmao. That sounds awesome!
Excellent ! another one can be set during WW2 ( Stalingrad , El Alamein etc etc )
Oh yeah! This was dynomite imho! Pure accident I found it and SO glad I did. Damn good. The whole thing had the mark if pros thry and thru. Just excellent! TY!😍👍✌🚀🙌👏👽💯
A Predator movie based in the Middle Ages would be awesome!
In the Crusades would be freakin legit!
This fan film is magnificent for sure, no worries!
It would make sense, the Crusades were turbulent times and a hunter looking to fill his trophy cabinet could do less than pick that location for a hunt
This is an underrated masterpiece! It have soul unlike Hollywood!
I truly hope that this gets the recognition it deserves and that the cast and crew are given the accolades for there superb work and ingenuity .
