This has been 6 months old. Will you go back and show the other designs. I dont like Westmorland, I rather the North Coast(my family is across from there). But i love the design, so i may look at it closer. I would like to see what the other designs are like.
This is the BEST house I've ever seen on Ja soil.. a swear... Some people when building large house don't have a clue what they doing... They just was know it big from the outside and when u go inside you wonder who in their right mind design the interior..... So for me.. I absolutely love this

@@TheDelprattFamily they have to. It is the law that all beaches that are natural are public. Places like sandals make it hard to get to the beach but all Jamaicans are allowed on the majority of beaches minus man made ones.

I’m surprised Jamaica hasn’t adopted this style of house design from long time. Meaning, contemporary, clean lines and large windows with no grilled alcoves and round arches!
With competent builders and a architect that knows what they’re doing. I believe you can easily achieve this type of modern design on a more modest budget, yes the house would need to be scaled down in size ( 2-3 bedroom) but it’s really not impossible.
I have been looking at this place on Coldwell bankers for a while now, however this video brings it to life. Thanks much for this one.

I love the kitchen in this one. It's very modern and upscale. Great job on showcasing it.
I have always loved the idea of using alot of glass to allow in the natural light but with all d criminals about, mi build burglar bars which to me spoils the aesthetics of the place.

My wife and I just completed our own home, 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, drive way, pool.....beautiful garden and green spaces.....brick outdoor around the entire house.....and it runs us less than 16.4million JA$.....and bare in mind, my wife already put all fixtures and amenities......all was sourced from both courts n singer......

Love ther multi- Tone inter-Locking tiles on the Driveway; Really nice. And the High-Windows for all that natural lighting...Great. Was wondering though about storm-Shutters for all that Glass during the hurricane season. Not sure i saw the fitting/slots there on the windows outside for the standard storm shutters. Otherwise, I love the design. Love the parallel line-theme of the architecture. Thumbs up Delpratt's.

They are beautiful however for $70mil standard doors and window is not accepted for the price over size is where it is in the European market the developer can do much better they’re cheap on the finishing

Society and humans are not created to be equal. For example - Usain Bolt is the fastest man to run the 100m and 200m in the history of mankind. For his great athletic achievements, society rewards him a huge amount of money and then he is able to live a luxurious lifestyle.

I think Keelia is commenting in general. Jamaicans should be able to afford a basic necessity, such as housing. Some folks may not be able to afford a $70M priced property; however, basic ones shouldn't be unattainable either. I guess some Jamaicans just are not equal then? I love my country; in fact, I think some foreigners may get tired of me talking about my culture, but what's so interesting is, I moved from Jamaica to the USA in my early 20s, for the reason of being able to afford comfortable living, gain productive exposure and experience. I am extremely successful here, because the North Americans see lots of value in me, invested in me and create provision to benefit from opportunities. When I lived in Jamaica, I was overlooked and judged. I'm thankful for the 3 jobs I had in the 1st 6 years of my professional life; I was compensated very minimally and had to live with my family; couldn't afford a car etc. But those jobs really helped me to be where I am today. Most people who share a similar story, wish average Jamaicans could afford fancy, starter homes. (I know this isn't a starter home though). I hope I didn't misunderstand the comments.
@@NN-zk2qs . The free market set the price of a house in Jamaica. For example- If the developer is selling a house for $10 million . Adam, Brian and Charles is interested in buying that house from the developer. Adams agrees to buy the house for $10 million , however Brian really wants the house and offer the developer $11 million. Charles out bids both Adam and Brian and offer the developer $15 million . Therefore the developer will sell the house to Charles because he is willing to buy the house for $15 million dollar. Conclusively, the demand for houses is more than the supply of houses available, therefore the price will continue to rise.
Most Jamaicans want houses to be affordable for the working class. However they will have to educate us on the solution to building these affordable houses. Are the Masons, laborers, plumbers, electricians, architects, and developer willing to work for less money so that the cost of the building the house will be less? Is the bank willing to make less profit on their investment? What is the solution?

Agree - an open plan kitchen with an island would have been ideal. Also think these developments should consider other kitchen cabinet colors - white, grey or taupe is more suitable to a beach house and not these dark/black colors. Other than that it’s a beautiful property
Agree-although I love the aesthetics, the interior needs to be more "beachy" with lighter tiles throughout

Love LOVE L O V E ! This house is everything! The one downer (for me. others probably might like) I don't have any desire to have/maintain my own pool. Especially with beach right there. Otherwise, this house was perfect! imo TY & keep these coming!
for resale value you might want to reconsider at least having the pool space on site even if you don't keep it filled. Nothing worse than some big everlasting house that missing luxuries that should be standard after a certain size point, like a pool.
