the magnus is definitely a very nice desk provided you are ok with its dimensions and the extra depth for cable management

After watching multiple videos on your channel i can’t really afford non of the S tier chairs you were mentioning 🤦♂️😫 but still im very satisfied with the purchase. Hopefully they fix all the issies they had in the Titan evo chair 2022 🤞🏽

Very visual focused setup with displays and lights. Suggest you look into getting better speakers for the PC/TV, and definitely a more ergonomic chair (I am using herman miller embody). Do also keep some water nearby at all times. Can also consider some exercise related items - e.g. I have a foldable treadmill that I can slip under the standing desk for a walk when I'm doing leisure reading/gaming. No need to upgrade TV so fast - maybe can explore projector overlay (i.e. roll-down screen over TV) if you want something that gives a diff experience.
i only use my mac for work, hence i didnt want to spend the money on a pair of good speakers. And year i got my thermal cup beside just that i didnt put in the video.
i want to get a good foot rest that is suitable for both standing and sitting use, any recommendation?
and yeah i am aiming for the embody logitech... just waiting for a good price
@@AlexTeo Buy the speakers for the TV. Good audio makes a huge difference even for watching youtube. :) No recommendation on the foot rest. If you are aiming for embody, can look at Atlas headrest that's coming out soon.

Thanks for sharing another great video and suggestions on what goes in your room. I like the table where it is solid wood top compared to most that are laminated. Totally agree on the round edges for comfort. Am surprised your Secret Labs chair still looks good after 5 years. 😊
Yeah i only replace the leather once during the 5 years, but you definitely want to give extra care to it

One of my favourite Local RUclipsrs in Singapore especially with this level of video production, really on par with home setup videos in the states. Could I ask how much was the TakeASeat standing desk? Love the wooden table top! And although Grovemade items are really good quality, I feel like their prices are quite steep. Is there a monitor stand that is similar to Grovemade but more affordable?
i have a very modest and budget production setup only haa... desk is around 1.5k, alternative to grovemade you can check out oakywood, if still above your budget then have to look at taobao already

Great room setup, would recommend to consider having a soundbar for your TV as it would make a big difference to enjoy the PS5 gaming and Netflix shows etc when you're not using headphones.

@@AlexTeo would depends on your budget and how loud you want it to be. Considering it's for room purposes and not living room, the Sonos Beam (Gen 2) would be a great choice. They come in black to fit your theme and size is just nice for your room setting. If you want to have a full setup, definitely consider the LG S95QR since you're using a LG TV.
@@AlexTeo Personally I'm using the LG S80QY to pair with my LG C2 in the room, it's a decent soundbar but it's slightly more expensive than the Sonos Beam. I got a good deal as it bought as a bundle with the TV. Sonos Beam would be a better choice if you listen to music more and it's slightly better in terms of overall sound, but the S80QY comes with a sub-woofer. So pros and cons.

standard taobao purchase is always around 3 weeks at least, but depends on the situation at china and whether there is any national holidays such as the coming cny

if there is no need to put wardrobe, you can place the tv there
then from my current desk position extend right side all the way to the wall for your wife

Hi Alex, I've been watching your videos. They are so useful. May I ask for your tv cable, where is the socket placed at? Right behind the tv console? I have checked out the tv consolve via the TB link youve kindly provided and wasnt able to find holes in the drawers. Can you share where do you place your socket? Sorry, it's my first time renovating my house.
there are holes behind each drawer, i put my power extension bar inside

I would add a soundbar for your tv but if you like headphones more then i would just leave it like that.

it supports max 60hz, if you have games running at 120 then it will drop the signal down

Big fan! Super cool setup. I’m also starting my own smart home journey and was hoping you could share a few advice on getting them setup. I’ve read that smart home devices are usually supported on 2.4GHz instead of 5GHz. I use the same WiFi router as you and was wondering if you setup your smart home devices on a dedicated 2.4GHz band?

Nope i didn't split as none of my smart home devices has that requirement. People mainly split for security reason

using both as I have 2 setup. The samsung M8 is more like a TV with remote while the LG in this video is a monitor, personally prefer the LG more
Did you consider getting DELL monitor before? Part of me likes the ergo stand in your video, but part of me thinks about durability and the matte screen from DELL 😂
