Another item for cable management is a cable spine. It allows you to both hide the cables and it's designed to work with the desk so vertical runs from the desk have a flexible spine that encapsulates them. Mine is mounted beside a Power bar in a blu-lounge box that conceals the Power bar (I have a cat so stuff must be concealed for safety). check with your desks vendor to find one of the spines.
I'm sure someone already commented on it, but I am sleep-deprived, and can't be bothered to read through 118 comments to see if it's stated. Putting some thin, rubber pads, or similar high friction, soft material, under the wooden plate you put on your "toy cabinet" would both make it feel a lot more locked in place and sturdy, while also reducing chances of any residue + movement causing scratches in the finish of the cabinet. Otherwise, very clean and thorough setup! Really love the idea of using magnets to fasten the channel cover at the back of the desk!
This office is beautiful! Though I did have to give a giggle at the "Wake up, kick ass, repeat" sign. I think that's become the men's version of the "live, laugh, love" sign 😅. But if it motivates and speaks to you, that's awesome.
Dang! This is super clean! Alright! This is the kind of flow and setup I’m going for. I been trying to pinpoint a setup but I struggle immensely to narrow things down enough to a design that I’m satisfied with. There aren’t a lot of items on my desk but it always feels cluttered and I’d love to cut my wires down cause there’s so many 🥴
@@DNChromatic Right, I agree. That is what I'm finding out works for me, the less visual noise the better. I don't need a lot. I definitely feel I got too many things as well, I feel that lol
I love the idea that you used Walnut panel on the cabinet! I am wondering how did you have a exact size for the top with the cabinet. Have you Cut Voxtorp panel in DIY? If so would you provide detail of VOXTORP panel size (or panel type) that you used?
Nice video! Awesome set up! One thing that botherd me was your voiceover, the audio levels seemed to fluctuate rather a lot. I found it a bit anoying sometimes
super neat build. you have a great taste indeed.. but other than that i see you use super A+ product which come with super expensive price tag. hope u can be you one day 😁
The room looks amazing. I am in awe the change that was made when you changed from black to white shelves! Massive opening. Question about the anchorWork all in one: do use that as your microphone for these videos as well? Or is your preference other equipment?
I always gravitate towards this desk orientation versus up against a wall but I am quickly disillusioned when I find myself getting headaches due to the bright backlight behind the monitors. I now have blackout cell shades but then that cuts all light in the room. My monitors have hoods but sunlight reflections off the walls and desktop cause me to squint at the screen which makes color grading difficult.
Oh nice to see someone with the craft keyboard, do you think it was a worthy investment over the mx keys? Or would you change if you could go back? Thanks! Beautiful space brother!
Nice to see creators using Windows laptops - what spec do you have in your current one? Mine is a 2021 with 16GB ram, AMD CPU, 2TB SSD and a GPU with 8GB VRAM - works great for a lot of stuff :D Have a MacBook for more mobile stuff too - but a lot of my work needs Windows apps and plugins.
@@Weird_Quests It's powerful definitely, but I still use proxy workflow to edit 4k video files otherwise it gets choppy. I wish I could compare with the Macbook to give a proper perspective. It does heat up and the fan gets loud from time to time, as some have mentioned, however it fades into the background after awhile.
Amazing!!Hi,I'm a university student in japan and I love watching room tour videos abroad. Is it possible to introduce your video on my youtube, etc(could be monetized)? Mainly, I’ll summarize your video and put explanations in Japanese.
Nothing better to do than throw shade smh everybody’s situation is different, just because you and the next guy don’t have time doesn’t mean he’s in the same boat, yall look envious.
I am watching many videos on youtube about the status of changes in the desks. and I really have to ask this. What is the reason that in all these videos they use the same voice. Everyone talks like that in real life.?
@@DNChromatic Hi, nice setup.. I was working on a similar concept (walnut top, white frame adjustable height desk, samdi monitor stand) and then came across your video and was able to actually visualize how my setup could look like.. Nicely done!! Wanted to ask, what color of SAMDI monitor stand did you select from Amazon? I was not sure whether the black walnut SAMDI stand would actually blend with the american walnut top I was planning to get.. Will appreciate your input. Thanks.
@@sameerjiva The color was just walnut on the Samdi description. From what I've seen it would match fine, most wood grains and patterns are not exactly the same regardless of where you get it from. Also I see completely different wood types on a desk or room design still have good pretty cohesion
What desk did you get and what size? The link in the description only takes me to their homepage and doesn't let me know which exact one.. I have a pretty big room and I'm thinking 48" is too small for a standing desk do should i get a 60" or 70"? Thanks
Sweet transformation! My room is similar in size & its amazing to see how you've maximised your space
I love this table made in China. Very nice I have been using it 2 years. Never change with other table. But mine is 5 cm thick wooden top
That transition into the sponsorship section was amazing. First time I actually enjoyed watching a sponsorship segment.
Glad you thought so!
This is so clean and I really like the idea of the “desk extension”
Wow! Nice set up. I love your motivational Sign! "Wake Up, etc."🥰
2021 office looked great too!
The screw mounted magnets for the cable tray is pure genius! I’m borrowing that idea for my desk. Thanks.
unbelievable... every time I search for inspiration I see something what I never would have thought. Its So clean..! thanks for the great vid.. 👌👌
You can immediately see that you are investing thought in the details, it is very inspiring...

Those live plants are the best. I'll give you bonus points for the live plants.
One word: WOW.

Awesome. I actually did get one, but didn't end up doing so, I only had one cable going to the floor. I still might use it.
@@DNChromatic You could also consider a floor outlet that the spine fits over. They make one that is power and data as well.

Really clean setup like the color match with white and walnut and the quality fantastic
