Bought a new opener from Amazon, followed the programming instructions for remote. Voila. My fear was I needed to replace the logic board on the Liftmaster unit. Note for all - Get a new remote and program it, before investing in a new logic board. 👍

You will need to clear all remotes by pressing the reset and program just your remote
How many remotes can be programed for opener at a time?
