I had tried many different controls, and followed the instructions and doing exactly this worked! Thank you! You have made my life easier, and for that I am grateful.
Thank you for the pro tip that was really helpful especially if you just purchased a home and the previous owners had access with a different clicker. That way it can be reset.
Do you have to have the garage door closed when you do it? I was at one of my tenants houses and I couldn’t get it to program, I’ll go back in a day or two and try it with The garage door down. Thanks for your video
So I been doing research everywhere and can’t find the answer to my problem. When I program the remote to my garage door opener it takes 4 clicks to open and to close. I’ve tried different remotes and it’s the same result I just don’t understand why. I’ve erased the openers memory and reprogrammed the remote and same result
@@DIYGEEKTEXAS ok, many liftmasters on older types such as your have a light and open/close button, so what you do is take your remote and at your wall button press light and open/close button at the same time as the remote and the lights will flash accepting the code press door button with light and remote button all at the same time, works relatively the same, very recent models they have a built in learn button on the button, sadly only works with liftmasters, chamerlains, and raynors, and ones with a push button you cant program to
Nah eff that! You're way to nice to this "Jacob's wanna know it all" This fool really said there's an easier and faster way to your pressing one button one time then a second button one time. His way was pressing two buttons simultaneously then pressing one button on two devises simultaneously.... that's not easier or faster
