  • In this video I show you how to erase all of the stored codes from your LiftMaster Garage door opener. This will erase the keypad keyless entry where you enter your pin code, all Remotes, and the my Q devices. You might want to do this if you think someone had a remote and can access your garage, or if you just moved into a new house. You might want to do this just to have peace of mind that everything is erased and you can program the Remotes you want programed. Thanks for watching!

    How do you clear the memory of the CLICKER?? One of my clickers has two (2) different codes stored to one (1) button. t is opening both my gate AND my garage door opener. I have no way to get rid of the duplicate codes stored on the clicker. I have already tried completely clearing the opener motor unit of all codes and reprogramming the clicker to it. But this does not clear the duplicate code stored on the single button on the clicker. There are no instructions on how to do this anywhere. When I google "clear garage door clicker" (or remote etc.) it just comes up with videos like this one on how to erase remotes from the opener. That is not what I need to do. Do you have any ideas or experience on how to basically reset a CLICKER to factory default unprogrammed etc?

      @jarrettgorin Год назад

      @@lindastoner3052 Yup. LiftMaster says there is no way to ever clear a code from the remote. Only option is to clear all codes from your openers and then reprogram the remotes. I did that and it worked, but was a huge pain in the a$$.

    Question: if I lost one opener and clear out the codes for the lost remote and the remaining remote...can I then go back and just pair the one remaining remote?

    Ok so I’ve done this to try and reprogram my remotes. It works for a few min. Then I step out of the garage to try and use my door opener. It no longer works. Thoughts?

    Is it possible for someone to have a remote which transmits the same signal as the one I use; Thereby opening my homes garage door after I cleared all the codes and learned my remote back into my opener? If so, how would I get around that issue

    • @ArmandoMorales325
      @ArmandoMorales325 Год назад

      I'm just going to say there's is no way. Technically all garage door openers can be opened just by a signal from anywhere. There's multiple devices that can replicate opener frequencies.

      Clear all codes then buy a new remote. Have the opener learn the new remote. That's what I was told.

    How do I actually clear the memory out of the remote? I accidentally programmed 2 doors on one button. I do not want to erase the codes on the actual opener as I have 7 remotes that I would have to reprogram.

    Thank you. I have an old Craftsman Liftmaster. Unfortunately, my neighbor's remote got paired with it while I was pairing a new remote of my own. In an attempt to reset, I have pressed and held the learn button, but it doesn't go out, not after 7 seconds, nor 30 or more. And it is not resetting. Is there another way? The only identifying number I see for this model is 41A3625.

    Hi, thanks for the video. We have 4 of those remotes that we want to de-program since we are using the key chain style now. When I erase the old ones will it erase the key chain remotes as well? Thanks again!

      Hi and thanks for watching, this process should erase all of the codes if done properly. It is always a good idea to check the old remotes and anything else that was paired just to make sure they are no longer working though. Thanks again for watching!
