Just found these videos & we have a Blue Merle Australian Shepherd. He's 14wks now. At first he would put his front paws in his bowl while eating & ride it across the floor & the same with a blanket, so we named him Rider.🤣 BUT...THIS NIPPING HAS GOT TO GO. He's a mini alligator. 😍

If I hadn’t have found your training videos with Inertia Zak, I’d still be struggling with a reactive anxious stressed 4 year old shih tzu. He was so afraid of the world but using your methods he can now face his fears (mums/dads with prams, young children in groups, big dogs and lots of other things) I am so grateful ❤️
My roommate's friend could really use this video... her dog refuses to stop barking when I enter the room, and she just keeps rewarding the behavior by giving treats to try to placate the dog. I've been trying other methods which are less structured, but it hasn't worked with any consistency. As it isn't my dog I'm trying not to overstep my bounds, so having this video to refer her to is very useful!
My puppy is 14 weeks old, and just recently he started demand barking when he sees us eat or when we are about to give him his food. Your videos are invaluable! I'm learning so much.
You may need to work on your own mental health before getting a pet. Many people think thd added responsibility will help them but it only adds to their anxiety
Ok, just found you this week. I have a 5 Mos. Old German Shepherd puppy. Certainly different than my old mutt I had for 15 years. I guess I took for granted what my old dog knew and understood. This girl barks, growls at anyone but me, play bites, chews on everything,, and is showing me why GS are called Velcro dogs. Zak, hoping you will help me. I already love her!

We are bringing home our first dog, an 8 week mini golden doodle on Tuesday. He looka a lot like Kona. your calm down, and cage training saved our lives!!!! we got a new puppy 2 days ago and he was charging out of the cage, and when we tried to put him in, he would bite, panic, thrash around. Now with combo of calm down and the cage door opening and closing he goes in and out of his cage without a single cry, panic or fight. I am so glad I found you!!!! Training Owners to communicate with their puppies!! You are brilliant!

I have both books, watch all your videos, and have learned so much! This benefits my almost 3 year old Chiweenie (who came to me at 7months old thinking all training was a trap) and now 8 month old Sheltie. Having a chronic medical condition with constant pain, and just having had major surgery I have to say fetch has been a life saver! Blu Andre Fleury (yes, we are hard core Golden Knights fans in Las Vegas lol) is a high energy dog and I don’t have the same options to exercise him I would if healthy. I made sure his fetch was solid before my spinal/neck surgery three weeks ago, so he always at least has tons of attention, love, training, and fetch for exercise until I can do tugging and some light chasing again. I’d love to see a video on working with dogs who have had bad experiences with things like baths and nail trimmings. My Chiweenie Leilana (queue Star Wars “It’s a trap!!”) is extremely resistant to even the slow steps toward nail trimming, and Blu has the same reaction towards baths. I hate for them to be stressed at all, and these are obviously must haves for them. Thank you for your training approach towards animals-they deserve unconditional love and respect, period. You and Bree (can’t forget her and all she does!) are a great team and I always look forward to the next video!

Im definitely happy seeing these videos! I was literally crying and getting upset with my spouse, we are both feeling the stress! Sleepless, frustrated. Lee just turned 8 weeks, weve had him 1 week. I taught him how to sut today and it felt so good to start training and see Lee do so well ! Ive seen errors we were doing and tonight hes sleeping in his crate for the first time. My spouse is sleeping next to the crate to help Lee feel at ease in a different part of the room and crate. So proud!!!! 😊 Im so glad I found these videos!
Just got a Bernese mountain dog that is 8 weeks old. I got some sleep last night but not a lot lol. At least he whined not as much as I thought. Watching this video gives me hope for a smooth puppy stage. Thanks Zack for sharing these tricks
I'm so glad that I found your channel. I have an 11 week old Welsh Corgi puppy and a 2 1/2 year old Jack Russel/Rat Terrier mix that I am starting training with. Your approach seems so much more kind and empathetic than a lot of the trainers I have watched. I’d like to see a video about training two or more dogs at a time. I don’t mean to train them without them getting distracted, I just know it will be easier for one dog to learn while watching another dog.
I’m training my 8 month old old puppy (very smart) & my 10 yr old good but untrained dog was interested. With this video I trained him down & stay in 4 minutes. 😮
I have been struggling with barking by my 9 month old cockapoo, Molly. As many puppies do, she is constantly finding new things as she learns about her world. Of course, before she checks it out, she has to bark at it. She also barks at the boats, kayaks, and other water craft who pass by our home situated on a creek near Charleston, SC. And when she goes out to potty, she barks to clear the area of the wildlife. As you can tell, I have a problem. I am solving this issue by based on Zack’s training techniques, but not one I have seen Zack use for barking. (Since I haven’t watched ALL of his videos, there may be one similar to this.) When she starts barking, I show her I have treats. She immediately tries to figure out what my command will be-- sitting, lying down, etc. Then she gets frustrated because she doesn’t have the treat. Once she starts barking, I use my “quiet” command and hold my finger to my mouth, as if I was going to say, Shhhh.” When she barks, no treats. But if I can get her to stop barking-even for a few seconds, she gets rewarded. We only started this yesterday and have already seen a tremendous improvement. She is not barking nearly as much as she used to. This is probably because it is similar to learning other tricks or learns to stay or leave it. Eventually she gets bored and goes exploring without barking. If she starts barking, I am right by her side with my treats and quiet command. I hope others may benefit from this as it is effective and so similar to other commands she has learned. And, no, I am not a dog trainer except to train my puppy. Thank you, Zack, for not only teaching me how to train my puppy but also to use the same technique for other issues. 😊❤️🐾
I watched your videos before getting our GSD puppy. After applying your training our puppy is only 9 weeks old. He knows how to sit, stay, and lie down. We are working on leave it as of currently.People who have met him can’t believe how obedient and well trained he is. Definitely still a work in progress though as we slowly introduce him to new distractions. 😄

My mom got my sister a puppy a few weeks ago, my sister did a terrible job taking care of her so now I have to train her. I already trained my other dog but I think this will help for both of them. Lemme just add that the people we got both of our dogs from leave their dogs in cages and let them go to the bathroom and roll around in it. So I have A LOT of training to do 😅

Hey, Zak thanks a lot for all the knowledge. Comes in handy when helping dogs 🐕 in need. Even with me new adopted pal. I was able to show him how to sit. Just struggle with the command when in a leash. He's a big dog so he pulls and runs fast. He was able to get out of his color twice so defenelly trying to show him to stay and to come in command
I got a 8 week bulldog girl yesterday 😁 (sky) Day 1 she’s doing really good in learning sit but play bitting needs to be next Day 2 she’s amazing at sit last day I’m focusing on sit Sit ✅ sorry I haven’t been updating this but like in said sit is amazing and leash walking is what I chose to be next she’s not doing bad but not great so that’s me update 👍
Looking forward to the videos of Kona graduating from the lure. My pup has mastered Take A Bow and Roll Over with a lure but progress isn't going anywhere with trying to get rid of the lure!

Look into Heath Extension. It has colostrum in it which has 12 different benefits for dogs. Its something they get from mothers milk. It is also an American product and it has all of those qualities you like in your food.

Lots of people say to just ignore or keep your distance from other objects for your dog to not bark but Zak actually trains his dogs to not bark.

Once she starts barking, I use my “quiet” command and hold my finger to my mouth, as if I was going to say, Shhhh.” When she barks, no treats. But if I can get her to stop barking-even for a few seconds, she gets rewarded. We only started this yesterday and have already seen a tremendous improvement. She is not barking nearly as much as she used to. This is probably because it is similar to learning other tricks or learns to stay or leave it. Eventually she gets bored and goes exploring without barking. If she starts barking, I am right by her side with my treats and quiet command. I hope others may benefit from this as it is effective and so similar to other commands she has learned. And, no, I am not a dog trainer except to train my puppy.

I watched your videos before getting our GSD puppy. After applying your training our puppy is only 9 weeks old. He knows how to sit, stay, and lie down. We are working on leave it as of currently.People who have met him can’t believe how obedient and well trained he is. Definitely still a work in progress though as we slowly introduce him to new distractions. 😄

My mom got my sister a puppy a few weeks ago, my sister did a terrible job taking care of her so now I have to train her. I already trained my other dog but I think this will help for both of them. Lemme just add that the people we got both of our dogs from leave their dogs in cages and let them go to the bathroom and roll around in it. So I have A LOT of training to do 😅

Even with me new adopted pal. I was able to show him how to sit. Just struggle with the command when in a leash. He's a big dog so he pulls and runs fast. He was able to get out of his color twice so defenelly trying to show him to stay and to come in command

Look into Heath Extension. It has colostrum in it which has 12 different benefits for dogs. Its something they get from mothers milk. It is also an American product and it has all of those qualities you like in your food.
