    2 real reasons….#1 dodge is bs on the price of these vehicles. #2 interest rates are wayyyyy too high making new cars unaffordable. I bought my 2021 Widebody Hellcat new for $73,000. Now they want $97,000 for the exact same car just 2 years newer. INSANE

    I don’t understand how electric vehicles are being blamed for Stellantas having layoffs? The cars & trucks piling up on their on their lots aren’t electric, they are big low mileage vehicles costing $70,$80, some even over $100k! Can anyone walk on to any of their dealer lots right now today and even buy an electric vehicle? Seems to me like they’re only building expensive high profit models that average people can’t afford. Build vehicles that people want and can afford then they’ll sell some vehicles.

      Cars are over priced because of upcoming electric cars...
      For one manufactures need money to invest in battery tech so they raised the prices of cars look at 2019 vs now,during Covid they passed the Electric Car ONLY mandate by 2035,that raised the price of cars...
      Then you have no more V8 Hemi in cars and dealers also raised the prices on top of the raised factory msrp!
      Remember they made more 2023's because they knew 2024 wont have any new Dodge cars..so dealers ordered more cars in 2023 to help them through 2024..
      RAM trucks also 2024 is a short year 2024 production ended in February! and now 2025's are coming out and the 1500 only has a 6 no more Hemi..We will see if that has an effect on sales.

    Last weekend our family took a trip from Southern California to St. George Utah. It’s not uncommon to see 6 cars stranded on the side of the road in 459 miles, but it was interesting to see they were all teslas. After we saw the first one we made it a game and counted them along the way.
    Thank you. I appreciate the channel

    Stellantis got greedy and literally priced those of us who love Mopar out of the market. I'd love to buy a new Pacifica, but not enough to pay the prices they're asking now.

    Challengers, Chargers, pickups, and heavy-duty pickups are all in slow sales. Stellantis closed the Brampton Assembly in Ontario Canada. Brampton produced the Challenger, Charger.

      It's still political, due to the mandated emissions restrictions that are borderline forcing these auto manufacturers to go EV and the majority don't want them.

    • @rodzimmerman1979
      @rodzimmerman1979 2 месяца назад +1

      Still political. Much of the reason the quality is poor is because of mandated fuel mileage that the technology has not been developed for as of yet. Adding turbo's and super chargers to smaller displacement engines is a recipe for shorter engine life and frequent breakdowns or reliability issues with the hardware and software involved and complexity to operate and control those systems.

    Layoffs are coming. I mentioned to y'all some of the big car shows Stellantis was a no show except local Chrysler dealership participate. Y'all better keep these older cars on the road. A lot of people's rent has doubled in the past 2-5 years. Think about it keep the older cars going. Rent increases are car payments. You ain't looking out for yourself kissing off LH and up body style. STOP DEPENDING ON A GOVERNMENT TO KEEP YOURSELF GAINFULLY EMPLOYED. HEY FELLAS THINK FOR YOURSELVES!!!

    The auto industry knew over 20 years ago that they were gonna have to lower emissions in all vehicles. Now they are acting like this is new. Raising prices to invest in battery technology is BS cause they are out sourcing from different companies who have already designed for the platforms

    JT,it’s hard to stay loyal to Chrysler when the parent company lays off 500 engineers then are ready to lay off thousands of more Americans.The bottom line is we don’t want the EV junk.My Pacifica S is a great van and my Town and Country is also great.The Pacifica ev is garbage.As far as all the cars on the lots they think we are all Onassis rich boys I had my van in for service recently and was looking at the 300C they had.62k and selling for 58k. I told the salesman give me a deal and I’ll buy it.He said ooo no last call and all that. I told him I’m the only one in the place at 11am on a Friday showroom side and service side you are headed for last call for your dealership with this kind of floor plan you’re paying for. Seems you part of the reason politics so polarizing. Being hard core to a specific side has been proven as to the reason things cant get done.
