How the hell can a "light pickup" cost $81K??? I snorted and walked off the lot. They can sit on those for all I care. In the last year, I have seen a grand total of two of these trucks on the roads. It does so many things - it's actually wonderful in town, great for driving on the beach, can really go off-road, gets 22-23 mpg average, and it's a convertible - even removed the doors a few times and it's a blast. Yes, not wonderful for cross-country driving but they're wildly popular where I live and for good reason. Yes, they are still too much money. Also, 3 years in and not a single issue. Not one. Sure, that's not a long-term trial but better than most.

You don't even know the half of it. Peugeot, the initiator of Stellantis was investigated by the European Union for price gouging on parts. There is method to this madness. Chrysler will get dropped in no time when they don't contribute enough and most likely yet again go bankrupt for what, the 4th time? And this time it might be the final nail in the coffin. As for their products being upmarket, I had to recover from a laughing fit, Tavares (Stellantis CEO) can keep dreaming that these clunkers will ever be higher than bottom bargain bin quality. Both Peugeot and Fiat are trouble brands according to European statistics, mashing them together doesn't improve anything.

And to think I purchased my 2010 Jeep Patriot North Edition out the door for $24,000. I factory ordered it because I wanted it with a 5 speed manual and I still drive it today and it’s still going strong. I haven’t had car payments for over 10 years!!! I just don’t know how people can afford a new car at today’s prices. Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram deserve to go out of business!!!!

The next morning I was furious. The leather dashboard was all bunched up where the headsup display frame fits over the leather. It could not be fixed a new dashboard had to be installed. Some poor strategic planning going on. And now they have the UAW BS contract around their necks. They could stop production for a year to sell off dealer inventory and then move production to Mexico for less costs and a more commited work force.

I will not pay $60 grand for a vehicle. I want to retire someday. The vehicle industry quit selling us on total cost years ago and started selling us on payments. "What payment are you wanting?"
