This is my 3yo nieces favourite song. She loves the video and the band. I was watching it one day on my phone and looked up to find her headbanging to it. At the end of the video when the clown hangs himself, she says weeee everytime. She freaks people out with it.
Sorry for so many comments lol - This was the first video released off of this album, and there were a lot of changes in the band in between this album and the previous one - they lost two band members, the bassist passed away and the drummer left or was kicked out. So the white jumpsuits and old masks are from the previous cycle, the blue jumpsuits and new masks are for the new cycle (they change jumpsuits and masks for every album cycle, although some only change slightly - *cough cough Mick and Craig*). They’re killing off their old selves to symbolize the rebirth of the band. I also read somewhere the two people in red sheets are supposed to be the members that left.
For an incredible Slipknot performance check out them performing the song "The Blister Exists" on Kimmel. Prime Slipknot were on another level with their live performances.

They had just lost their bass player and co founder to drug overdose and fired their long time drummer before that. The two red entities represent the two lost members. The two in the wheelchair that get stabbed are there replacements. The members all dying in horrible ways represents the suffering that each member endured because of the loss.
I know this song is about the one and only Paul Gray, God rest his beautiful soul... But I feel like this is a great song about drug addiction as well, especially when he blows himself up, sort of like addiction is from the inside with your finger on the button and hitting it and self destructing every single day. Chills. That's just MY interpretation. This is why music is beautiful, though!
