Sorry for bad english. Last year i passed a very devasting period: i lost the trust in myself and i fell in a great sadness because of covid, personal problems and continual disappointment.. This band, and specially this song, represents my rebirth. It made me find again the will to fight, the desire to follow my dreams and specially the energy to face life. Oddly, one of Slipknots most inspirational songs about mental health. Confronting the metaphorical "devil" of depression, bringing it into the light (aka. seeking help), and defeating it and its many forms once and for all.
It makes me kinda sad, but happy, that this song is 11 years old. I just came home from Afghanistan, wondering if I’d get to hear any more, and about a year later, I was given the grace, of this beauty.
