I'm with you on the cost vs performance. I decided not to get the intake but I did the 2.5 inch lift kit, the Z1 upper control arms, and the Z1 Performance exhaust and I'm really happy with it. Best MPG I'm getting on stock tires is 19.5.
@@-Dwight-Schrute Id say there is drone between the 2000-2500ish range when in city driving. The exhaust sound is louder than the intake when you get on it. Thats been my experience anyway.
Really enjoy your install videos. Just bought a ‘24 Frontier Pro 4X and will eventually tackle some of the upgrades you’re doing. Great sense of humor, which is needed while wrenching on your pickup.
@@kristianshynez4680 was told by a Nissan tech that things like that didn’t void warranties. But anything like messing with motor internals or re-flashing ecu would definitely void the warranty.

Something to consider for more mods, Z-1 high lift hood struts, I have them and they are nice.. also the NISMO red ignition button... I have that also on my 2023 P4x. Z-1 sells it to. Z-1 heater hose inlet coupler, OEM is plastic and will eventually fail.
A tech at Town Center Nissan in Kennesaw, GA told me no. No bolt ons like that or exhaust for example, won't bother warranties. He specifically mentioned any ecu reflashing or tuning WOULD void warranty.
I drive a 24 SV rwd Frontier and I'm getting 30mpg on the country roads of east TN where the speed limit is 55 and on the interstate I'm getting 25.6 based on what the truck is telling me. I plan to do some testing after I put some miles on the truck, currently it has less than 500. What are the benefits of a Cold Air Intake?

@@Thisguy121242 a Nissan Tech assured me it did not. He rode in the truck to check this clunky transmission and we talked about mods. He said you would need to get internal or into engine management (a tune) to void the warranty.
Not sure but could the reason it's so quiet is because the air filter is enclosed in the box? I have a K&N Air Raid system on my 2004 Dodge Dakota and its a more open system and you really hear it sucking air when you're stepping on.

How do you like the exhaust? Looks like a nice product. It drone any?
Thanks a ton for your feedback 👍🏽
Not any bad drone. The truck cruises at about 2200 RPM and it sounds good. It's great when you get on it too. @TheAdamConners

Thanks, 🫵🏼 you da man
Honestly I will get the K&N filter before spending $400 bucks. That's my two cents
But I like how you installed it 👍
I don’t disagree with you at all man
I have the NISMO catback coming this week. This would probably help your truck out since you have the CAI on it..

I'm ordering the overland style MBRP in a week or two. But I'm going to modify it to be equal lenght

The factory intake is a cold air induction. Get the Z1 drop in filter. I do think the S&B or the Z1 intakes are much more visually appealing.
