It AMAZES me how Anne was considered ‘ugly’ back then. Now, everyone sees her incredible red hair and bright colored eyes, along with her stunning freckles and sees that she is gorgeous . I love how today, all hair colors can easily be seen as beautiful, and so can all skin tones and eye colors etc. Of course, there is still some hate about certain looks but still, shocking to think that she wasn’t considered ‘pretty’.
As someone who has had red hair and freckles for 18 years I have to disagree tbh

Red hair was never considered ugly. So many beautiful mythical women like Guinevere and Mary Magdalene have red hair. In the books, her description is just the 19th century version of "I'm ugly because my eyes are too big and I have wings" that YA books do.
not ALL skin tones. not everyone accepts features like hair color, skin tone and etc. It's a shame, but it's true.
Her hair is beautiful. I think while she was pretty in season one she really got prettier as the show went on

I'm a 60yr old woman, and even I have to admit, this is one of the best shows ever!!! I'm on my 3rd round. When I watch it, it's like coming home 😊.

@@raissaromero922 It’s funny cause the whole show is based on a book series. The first book is called ‚Anne of green gables‘ and you can get the whole set of 8 books for super cheap on Amazon. Haven’t read it yet but I’m definitely going to

So, their fame isn't really towering and they haven't been doing this long either. So, no, the fame hasn't gone to their heads, because there isn't a heaping spoon full of it to pass around to begin with and the show itself is still an infant.

How would you know that ST stars let the fame get to their heads? They are all wonderful, down to earth people as well. You can have your own opinion, but I'm just saying that they are all also amazing people and please don't hate on them😔😌

Why not? It was left with so much to continue and continue. The end of the 1800s, 1890s into 1900 so much to look forward to. It must continue.

It's really weird seeing them in modern clothes and all, that's how you know how good their designer is, and how good as an actor they are.

My wife and I have been watching the whole series and have just begun season 3. We are enchanted by the stories, the characters and the amazing costumes and settings. It carries us beautifully back in time and from that vantage point reveals so many truths about the present.

We are all suffering. I’m extremely vexed at Netflix for cancelling this show! It truly it tragical! It helped shape the minds of many persons and was an amazing academical journey. I loved every second of it!

-The books went till 1919 where Anne and Gilbert were happily married with 7 kids, so I wish the series would continue. But in the books Mathew and ruby both die, and Gilbert gets deathly ill with typhoid, and if they renew it I don't want that to happen.
-the sad thing is, the show was meant to have at least 2 more seasons, therefore at the end of s3 we didn't get a good closure, if you know what I mean... I love that Gilbert and Anne finally kissed, but they kissed 2-3 times in the whole series, that too in the last 10-15 minutes of the last episode, so I would have loved to see more of their relationship.
also, the Ka'Kwet issue was never solved! did she ever get back home? did she die? yk-
-We also didn't get to see, either Diana apologise to Jerry, or them eventually get together if that was ever going to happen, along with the fact that near end, it showed ruby saying she wasn't in love with Gilbert, so I would have loved to see her reaction to shirbert, and I think that if it had gone on; her and moody would have gotten together.
-in the books, Josie Pye and moody marry so that would be less preferred in the series
