I'm from a former British colony nation, and we're studying English of British but ended up speaking with American pronounciation
im from yorkshire and this girl sounds nothing like me, American people don’t understand that there are A LOT of British accents
@@ducktk yea there's tons Yorkshire is so unique though so is (new London) and cockney
@@ducktk you guys are the one never understand americans, always generalizing them
You're so nice 😊 I'll show you to my students 👏 bye from Italy

I love American English because it is easy to understand.
Me too! You are right.
True actualy I live in the UK but I use American English when speaking lol I don't do it on purpose it just kinda happens alot
Me too
"Americans" are all people who live in the American continent, not just in the United States
american accents clash a lot more, like pin and pen, can and can't. I think you just spent more time listening to american accents because in general it shouldn't be any easier.
Wow so lovely,,And that's why they say there is no master of pronunciation,,
Both of them are cute and funny.
The British girl so confident

More like arrogant

I hate it when people think their nation is better than everyone elses, that's what the British girl is doing in this video. Just respect other nations
Yeah I think that so
Sensitive little yank 🤣
That's why she is British.. btw I'm an Indian..
I also hate them
i mean shes british, the language is english, so she is better
Oh dear, Emily is so so cute
Beautiful ladies
Besides the accent, which is obviously differente... I can see in this video the difference in personality of the two girls. What do you all think? For me, I prefer the American girl personality.
I don't know how is their personality in real life...but according to how both of these girls act in this video...I would prefer the American girl......100%...
She looks simple, polite, and beautiful❤
I loved the British girl 🇬🇧
The American girl is so pretty and polite 🇺🇸
I like dry humor so the british girl really made this video way more interesting 🤷🏻♀️
Obviously the American girl
Hearing all this an Indian be like: Why the hell is this so complex!
OOh boy thats what i was thinking XD
yeah like every indian language isn't complicated as hell
@@2cool0 There's like one for every state and most of us speak most of them. It's so easy to get mixed up.
@@sadistic_key yeah exactly that's what i'm saying
you both very sympathetic
In Taiwan, when we learn English, we learn the American accent. However, I went to learn English in Sheffield, England one summer when I was in college. That year is 1997. It just took me almost two weeks to finally understand "schedule" in English accent when my homestay hostess pointed to my schedule and said, "According to your schedule." By the way, at the language school, the English teachers always tried to "fix" our American accent. They really didn't like it.
The British are far, far more protective of their version of English than Americans are. American English teachers wouldn't correct your British accent if you had one.
Christina is so polite ❤
I'm sorry but I found it rude the way the British girl acknowledged, teased, etc. towards the American girl and the American accent. And still... the American girl was so sweet.
I find her an honest person which is good for those watching this video. And yeah, the american girl is so sweet that I would give her a slight slap (you know where 😎) (which is rude 😈)
@@freeman9738 calm down it’s a RUclips comment section not omegle
pretty sure it's a friendly tease but you do you
It's just or culture, we are naturally more dry than other people so can come across as rude.
She was doing exactly that, teasing and joking. It was an open invitation to the American girl to joke back at her, it's how we Brits make friends. If you can't take the piss out of your mates then who can you?
I notice that in Maryland (Baltimore) to Philadelphia PA and NJ (and probably elsewhere), they say "wooder" for "water".
Thanks a lot you handsome girls 😊
Edited - Coz i got to many hate just for expressing my feelings

Lol you definitely haven't heard cockney ;)
u defo havent hears scouser ,manc ,hudds brum leeds , cockney theirs so much differnt accents man
It first came about because the Upper class started speaking in a posh way after the American revolution to differentiate themselves from Americans and the lower class.
Lmao 😂 there are wayyy more accents that aren’t the typical posh accent in Britain. That’s mainly London you’re thinking of... one city
I come from an Asian country. Personally I love American accent and don’t like British one. American accent sounds more softly and comfortably for me to listen.
Same here
Why thank you for the compliment :)
im asian and its hard for me to speak in American accent
@@amp1480 I like American accent but I can’t speak the accent either. Lol
English accent is soft, American accent is harsh
sweet voice!
Oww ,very beatiful girlsss😮
